I already posted a comment about my Lunaria theory but I'll repeat myself. There is a vague posibility that Yuuki might return as the Goddesss Lunaria since some of her data remains in Asuna's Mother Rosario skill and manga readers have said that Asuna has a brief conversation with her in the underworld so that's option 1 and now the more possible option 2 would be for Yuna to be the Goddess Lunaria, because outside of Ordinal Scale, we've seen her in 2 out of 3 openings, which certainly means something. We even saw her and Eiji in ALO when Lisbeth Silica Klein and Agil were giving that speech about requesting help from all ALO players in the Underworld, we saw a closeup of Eiji's mouth with Yuna hovering over his shoulder as a navigation pixie so there are very high implications of Yuna returning as a powerfull fighter. It would be awesome to see a Goddess apear with Break Beat Bark on full blast, it's crunchelicious.

Asuna is my favourite goddess in SAO as she is so awesome and along with Kirito who is Asuna knight shining armor are a awesome pair. But my second favourite goddess in SAO is Yuki from Season two third ark as I enjoyed seeing her & Asuna in action as well a great sister like relationship. Talking about the two villains in the two part Season 4 do make me angry because of their evil smiles at the end of part one, I look forward to see both Asuna & Kirito will kick their ass in part two.

As long as she had the same experiences Kirito did they'd be about equal in power. As a goddess account all of Asuna's stats such as life, object, and system control authority are almost maxed. Way higher than quinella. She only lost her arm because she wasn't used to Underworld yet and panicked by believing she could lose her arm, basically causing her incarnation to make it happen. She regrows the limb immediately afterward with relative ease.

Wanna hear an honest speculation of mine, I honestly think Goddess Lunaria could be either Yuuki or Yuna, more likely the latter since we did see her briefly in the semifinal episode as a navigation fairy alongside Eiji. Now this comes from someone who hasn't read the manga or the light novels (might get into that one day) but yeah when you think about it, after the masterpiece that is Ordinal Scale, where Yuna debuted, there have been 3 SAO openings and she appeared in 2 of them and also appeared briefly in the anime. Now that can't be a coincidence. The SAO games found multiple ways to bring Sachi back into the story and Yuuki is a main-stay character, and maybe Yuna to an extent so it would be awesome to see either Yuuki or Yuna back cuz I really love these 2 characters

I think Stacia is better than Solus. Sure Solus has that very cool wide-ranged ability, but if someone was able to get close to her, she couldn't do anything that much because she isn't that proficient in close combat, unlike Stacia. I say, if she'll have a battle with Stacia, Stacia could just dodge all her attacks due to her very high dexterity and speed. Also, that recharge time for her weapon is pretty slow. Stacia could do so many things to her during that 2-3 mins. Anyways, that aside, if you read the lightnovel, in a 1v1 combat with Gabriel (God Vecta), she lost because Gabriel was very fast to come near her and managed to hurt her physically, mentally, and emotionally. This is where her incarnation was shown to be very much weaker than Stacia because she didn't have a "real" life and death experience unlike Asuna (her SAO entrapment) and Gabriel (his military life). I mean admired her during her fight with Gabriel because she really tried her best, but in the end, she came to the point where she couldn't stand up and very exhausted because Gabriel was successful on beating her incarnation. Her mentality was really beaten up that time because she failed to withstand Gabriel's manipulation (mostly thoughts like she couldn't beat him). If Stacia was the one who battled Gabriel, she would last way longer than Solus, could've injured Gabriel significantly, and Alice could've escaped from Underworld without the complications. Although, I admit, if it wasn't for Solus' flight ability, Gabriel could've catched up with Alice and successfully acquired her for himself.

Do you honestly think Asuna would have done better? I mean Gabriel at that point was insanely powerful. He was completely immune to Underworld weapons like swords and bows.

Kirito has beaten up Gabriel using his SAO self (his incarnation). As Asuna "seems" to be the strongest fighter next only to Kirito, do you think Gabriel will not have a not-so-easy time with her?

she needs to touch the ground (stomp) to heal, the LNs made such a major point about this iirc If she did heal then it's an anime mistake/change (not just glass appearing, she needs to touch it) They changed her final scene anyway iirc so wouldnt' be surprised Edit: Looks like anime mistake since the LN doesn't mention anything about Dee lifting her up or Leafa above the ground From LN18 right before she dies (which was changed in anime) "She no longer had the strength to stomp her foot and make use of Terraria’s healing power. Her body, lacerated and pierced by countless blades, was as cold as ice. She couldn’t move a finger.”

Isn't yui technically an ai that can disobay? She has done it before with cardinal. Would this mean that the yui in all the other games using the cardinal system are capable of disobaying? Damn rath was looking in the wrong place lmao

no I dont recall if they full explained Yui in anime (prob not) but Yui isn't a truly AI. iirc she even sees herself as inferior to the UW people (AI wise) Highly suggest the SAO LNs since the Anime cuts out or oversimplifies details like AI
