And this is the difference between a reasonable player and people who get roasted in IODIS - when a resonable player loses, he starts to seek problems in his own playstyle. When a player with inflated ego loses, he immediately blames literally everything around him except himself. So we probably won't see Harstem doing IODIS on himself, or any of his pro-gamer friends sending something like this in (unless for a joke). Sometimes, imbalance actually does creep into the game with a new patch. However, vast majority of people who believe themselves to be experienced and knowledgeable enough to talk about balance are actually nowhere near competent enough for that.

Watching this gave me an idea for BGMWSS - Play as Terran and build almost only Mines. Make it so wherever your opponent goes on the map he gets blasted with Mines. Harass with Mines too.

It's always the terrans man. They don't even realize how many of their mistakes should be game-ending because, for Terran, they often aren't. Terran is honestly the easiest race for average players. Clearly this doesn't apply at high level, but if your only goal is to just get to diamond, play Terran.

At 13:20 ish this gives me an idea for bgmwss.. I Dont think you can do it mind you. But basically the idea is roughly go for a 2 base all in like this terran has but Dont actually commit to it. Light harass is allowed but the goal is to pretend like your gonna all in but never do so to the point that your macro is 5 a 5 minute macro game at the 10 minute mark without real macro supporting it. At this point you have to somehow come back with macro and defend with your "all in" until you can actually come back. Whatever build you want to do is fine I trust your planning but max upgrades by 10 minutes should be 1/1/1. Not a great "plan" on my end more just a broad goal I can't think of specifics but hopefully you get the point. Really the goal would be as if you took over a platinum or diamond league game for a player that was behind and tried your best to make a win out of it.

I really like how people think that just doing anything at all with their units is "micro", and of course, the more micro the better! Especially Terrans, although this happens with all races, but everyone knows you're supposed to micro your stimmed bio really hard so I think terrans put more emphasis on this. That's how you end up with marauders doing fucking laps around a battlefield not shooting at all and then terrans complaining that their opponents control was shit - clearly, the protoss should have also been sending his units to the cliff and back before they were allowed to shoot. Silly protoss, thinking your units are supposed to do DPS! Another favourite of mine from this game was when there was an archon in the natural, at 16:30 and the terran had all his bio there already shooting it, he "stutter stepped" them all onto the archon so that he would lose dps while running over in order for the archon splash to hit more of them. Like, my dude... it's time just start a-moving. Your "micro" is making your army perform worse.

@PeekaChi Yes protoss should have on average 3 or 4 workers in the early game, but the terran player killed more workers with he hellions than the adept did kill scvs. By right, terran at that point should have more scvs than protoss but did not because he stopped building svcs for awhile. Then there's the supply block multiple times which puts him even farther behind.

I don't even play sc2 really, but way I see it. It was just Protoss having 1-2base more all the time, so Terran didn't lose because the race, but because he lost economy. Also that complaint about enemy micro was false, he microed just fine.

On EU server 47% (ridiculous number, half of best players are protoss!) of Grandmaster league is Protoss race, while general population across all leagues of Protoss players is only second to Terran. Why is that so? I am interested in your answer. I won't ask about things like why Protoss can A-move with literally any army comp and stomp any army comp of Terran or Zerg, if neither side is microing (obviously I am talking about same value of armies and armies, that can shoot at each other (so no zealots versus banshees etc.)), with microing and all, 49% is even more ridiculous. Grandmaster players usually micro their units. If Serral or Maru are god tier players and destroy Protoss players left and right, it doesn't save regular grandmasters (which are already very good players). Why do you need to put in much more effort to even be on the level playing field with random Protoss? And if you think, that all races are on the level playing field, then where do 47% come from? It was 49% earlier. All data according to this chart www.rankedftw.com/stats/races/1v1/#v=2&r=0&l=6 You can click on other regions and see the same trend in there too, it maybe less or more prominent on different servers, but it's still there. And this is basically time, when Blizzard announces no Blizzcon patch this year. I just talk about EU, because it's the biggest server and it's data should be the most accurate.
