You petting on ole Big Mac brought back memories of a pet Angus cow I had growing up. She would always shake her head like Big Mack when I'd talk to her. And no matter how far out in the field she was when she heard my school bus coming down the road, she'd break out in a run to get to the fence so I could pet her! She was so sweet and pretty too. Black angus were our favorite beef cattle to raise. He looks ready for freezer camp soon! Least he's not wild like Crazy Eyes, so he'll load good and not be jumping fences like she did!😉

Ha! Houston perfectly imitates Rufus' vocals. It's good to do the juices, at least once a week along with a very small meal, or juice only for a day (mini-fasts help eliminate toxins and boost immunities--and works real well along with other good lifestyle habits). Besides chicken feed, the leftover pulp can be used to make broth for soups, or as a warm broth drink to take in your travel mug to do those chores in winter.

I like to recommend sorrel. It is really a tasty leafy green that has a bright lemon type flavor. We use it in pesto, salads, and wilted greens. Give it a try. MI Gardener has large leaf sorrel seed.

I don't want to rub it in, lol, but my winter garden in the SoCal desert is growing like crazy. Spinach, onion, eggplant, garlic, and a ton of goliath tomato's. Its our summers that are hard on gardens. I planted Japanese eggplants. Fried them up in a bit of oil and added a pat of butter. Mmmm!

I was always taught to not harvest collards until after the first frost for taste. I take it that they don’t get frost in the greenhouse? Maybe just a regional thing. Great video👍!

Big Mac reminds me when I was a lot younger and lived on a dairy farm, I raised a bull calf until he was old enough to turn out. He was the most friendly bull I ever saw. He would look forward to me coming out and getting in the pen and paying him some attention. Maybe even more since he was by himself all the time. Well, when he was old enough to be turned out with his first herd of heifers that was the end of any relationship with me! He was so jealous he would chase me down the lane and I wasn't even in the field with them. When I would feed the herd he would charge the tractor. It was not safe for me to even consider getting off of the tractor. Anybody else was OK around him, but not me. Just shows how unpredictable animals can be and you can never really be sure what is in their mind. Now I also raised the herd of heifers as well so maybe that was part of it. He would probably have been all right with me if he was brought back up to the barn and separated from the herd. Big Mac has a different future but even as big as he gets, he can still be very friendly.
