some time ago i heard from sikh warrior (indian gaming youtuber) that, like most of the other high paying jobs in foreign, in gaming industry too the Indians are dominating and many of the rockstar employees are indian. So i dont think India is Still Struggling To Create AAA Game, instead India is struggling to retain the talent!

Here is real problem I spotted as GameDev 1. India is still POOR country. and all politicians are responsible for it. 2. Here is real stat's: USA: 211.2M PC gamers (63.26% of the population) own gaming PCs. India: Only 35M gamers (2.45% of the population) own gaming PCs. 3. Fewer gamers mean fewer creative minds and developers. Gaming fosters creativity, problem-solving, and tech skills. 4. India missed the gaming evolution. While U.S. gamers have been playing and creating since childhood, India is just catching up. 5. Even if we provide Gaming Computer access today. Development of creative minds takes time. USA gamers playing all games from childhood where in India very few are able to. which directly affects on No. of creative minds. 6. In USA, "Millions Devs make games, so thousands succeed" India needs Millions of devs to match that success-it's a numbers game. & this thing I realized when I got chance to share space with some great AAA studio ex Devs & Directors. I saw how they work for months... we can't match their gaming experience because experience takes time. "we can't suddenly wake up and be creative."

Yes India and lakshya digital are helping other studios make games just like transformers movies were rendered here in India. They basically serve as outsourcing companies and nothing more. India does not make AAA games primarily because there is no market here for them. Very few ppl actually own a console or Pc and even fewer ppl actually buy games with real money. Also Indians generally are risk averse so none of the investors are interested in funding single player games.

60k $ argument is bad because of the housing costs , taxes , inflated prices of everything they get and also the medical fees which are exponentially higher in countries like USA Japan Australia because of which they have fear of recession and they need to save up a lot of money and not to forget when they become old there is no guarantee that they will get any financial support , getting a ps5 worth 500$ is a little easier but its like the difference between a person earning 50k and 70k rupees , they also think a lot before buying such things

The main reason we aren't seeing big studios develop and originate in india is definitely the shortage of capital and people just aren't ready to take this big of a risk especially the Indian parents too would want their children to get a safe and secure job instead of something like this, I think that the government should try and push indian developers to make a big studio maybe all of the developers working for the big companies like rockstar could come together to form a studio??

India can actually made great games they just need to improve in some aspects . 1- They should not do any false advertisement and make big promises only to fail and not even able to complete any points of the promises like days gone which had to be shutdown along with the company that made them . 2- we as gamers should respect everygame that is made in india even if it is a indie or a AA games . We got exmaples of some excelent indie /AA games like ,palace on the hill, detective dotson and kamla these are great games and shows indians can also create excelent games . 3- Indian developers should try to do unique idea instead of following the usual trend . For example battle royal genre is so crowded with western and chinese games still india wants to fit in that instead developers should start with small mobile games and if they become succesfull , update and improve the games while adding new contents and slowly try realising it for pc . For example asphalt series which is a dominant mobile racing game realeased asphalt 8 and 9 for android first and then on pc and they are some of the most popular racing games on both platform . In the end I believe in our indian developers they just need to learn and improve there skills , If only one of the many indians working in western game companies give them guidance, I am sure India can improve a lot and we can have our own black myth wukong of India by next 10 years

There is still a long way to making AAA games in India. First we have to support small indie and AA games that are being made in India, that will promote the culture of gaming and as indie developers and AA studios start earning some money from it investors will be ready to pour some money into AAA titles. It is not about the people. Indian people can make games. Rockstar's majority of Art and Design department plus Online servers is handled by Rockstar India. It is Rockstar's 2nd largest studio after Rockstar North with around 1000 employees. All those beautiful scenery you see in RDR2 are made by Indian devs can you believe it? And they are working on GTA 6 too

India doesn't even have a gaming community , everyone is just a pubg Sucker, classics like Diablo 1 , Xcom 2 or Resident evil 4 , no one even knows this , the Backbone of Indian Gaming community Beast Boy Shub doesn't have that much of an Audience as compared to the fake gamers like Triggered or Payal 😢. This community is starting with us , but the problem is even though we know about the technology we don't have money to afford it as said in the video , but in US the community started with grown ups who had perfect knowledge of what they were getting into.
