@@sylvainbeaulieu6300 it's not rocket science. No nba? Just create, inside the WNBA on TNT. starring Chuck, Shaq, jet and ernie. Add a couple hof wnba players to provide commentary and they'll have a banging show with a first mover advantage in the fastest growing sport in America. Wnba broadcast rights before CC was $50 million. After CC, the next negotiation period proffered $200 million obo. Without the NBA costs, a wnba tnt show would be 95% cheaper to produce.

ESPN does a garbage job with all the NBA games they cover. Quite frankly, the entire Disney brand has destroyed everything they've touched for years now. An increasing number of games look like they will be behind different paywalls like Paramount now with these new deals. Bad sign for NBA as a brand that is already in decline in viewership. My guess is that the NBA will just continue to try and draw an increasing amount of dollars per lower amount of fans.

This show is the reason I got into the NBA, which might sound crazy. I stumbled upon it about 5/6 years ago through KZbin clips. Basketball wasn't huge when I was growing up in Australia and NZ in the 90s. I knew about Shaq and Charles, but has no idea of Kenny and Ernie. The humour and their convos on the show made me want to follow the NBA. It's rare for a sports talk show to have that kind of impact. I'll really miss these guys and this show.
