I completely agree with him there’s nothing wrong with 2Pac repping the West Coast. I’m surprised how uneducated a lot of today’s hip-hop fans and even some artist are. It would take all of 10 minutes to look up how long 2Pac lived in New York and how long he lived in California and where else he lived. I think one of the most annoying interviews I ever heard was with 03 Greedo. That dude is so lost , To him rappers that aren’t gang members just aren’t real people. He really thought the reason everyone loved 2Pac was because we thought he was a blood??? He even said in the interview I watched that he didn’t understand how everyone just let him rep The West Coast when he lived in New York his entire life except for the last year he was alive? The dude clearly had no idea about where Tupac had spent half of his life which was California. Yes 2Pac was born in New York but it’s not like he lived there his entire life and then signed to death row and moved to California but that’s really what 03 Greedo thinks happened. 2Pac Moved to California halfway through his teenage years. By the time he started rapping he had been in California for years already at that point.
@sinceremarks85292 жыл бұрын
It’s documented that PAC left Ny at 13 and left Bmore at 17 so he spent more than half his life on the east and lived in NY longer than any place else so get ur facts straight.

@@sinceremarks8529 Yeah the dude said in the video basically the same thing and that’s what I’m saying. He moved to Cali when he was 16 years old. What the fuck are you talking about? The only thing I said that was wrong was that OKthree Greedo said he lived in New York his entire life except for the last year then he moved to Cali. Moving to Cali at 16 years old when you were growing up is long enough to claim that if he wants to. He wasn’t rapping at 13 years old. Yes he moved from New York to Baltimore to northern Cali to southern Cali. I never said he didn’t. I’m saying the same thing he’s saying in the video. I accept that Tupac was west coast as a Bay Area guy in his debut and most of his career. I also understand and like that in his Bay Area days, he was friends with people ALL OVER Hip-Hop, which is why so many of your favorites pumping around 91-95 (particularly many NY/NJ acts) have great stories from interacting with him. Makes me kinda wish he had a handler like Nas had with Illmatic that got him tracks from the monsters of the time. Imagine some DITC, Dilla, Pete, etc in addition to Easy Mo Bee and eventually Dre.
