im pretty sure loads of other people have used this exact same idea with neuvillette before, but i just wanted to do it myself with my design!! and this was also just a little test with gacha life 2, which i actually love so much

Sooooo a bit of an explanation Spoileds ahead for thr archon quest and Neuvillettes story quest. So the man in the video is named Neuvillete, hes the hydro dragon of sovereign which means that whenever he cries or is upset, it rains. People are well aware of this and the children have even created a chant for when it rains. "Hydro Dragon! Hydro dragon! Dont cry!" In this video, I presume Neuvillette is lying to himself. Hes telling himself hes fine, when in reality, the opposite is true. My only guess is that hes still mourning carole. Carole is what you call a Melusine. They arent human but they arent animals either. Neuvillette has a soft spot for them, and brought carole into the court of fontaine (where he lives) so that Melusines can live among humans. The problem is, in the beggining, humans didnt like Melusines. They hated them, especially Carole. Eventually, Carole was charged for a crime that she didnt commit. Nobody took her side, except for Neuvillete and another guarde. In order to prove her innocence, Carole offed herself. It still haunts Neuvillete to this today and he still feels guilty about not being able to save her
