Nobody is saying a fact that he is now big value in art market as a African American artist. So basically hip-hop people love to have him as a love or as a asset it's depends on them, even though some people don't like his art. And that's a fact. For a example:- Since I was small I loved his work but some of my friends they don't. But when he was auctioned breaking world's expensive painting before Da Vinci. People got hyped over Basquiat more as a luxury brand value. But he's a gem at least I knew he will be the future art at age 14 now I'm 30.

The moral of the story, drugs will end your life!
@theelementsofvirtuecollect58466 жыл бұрын
His story has become my platform to inspire people to say no not just to drugs (as in the case of Basquiat) but also sex, drugs, and alcohol (by reason of others whose lives have succumbed to such) for the very reason you mentioned. Jesus is the giver of life and those things can destroy. I haven't always said no to those things but I learned many a hard lesson and shared a partial testimonial in one of the videos I posted since starting this channel, which, as an artist, I decided to do just to begin documenting my journey after watching Basquiat's biopic and interviews on KZbin. Before purchasing a compilation dvd with his biopic on it from Dollar General last year/ year before I had never heard of him. I am not really a fan of his art, but rather his life. You have wonderful insight. Always be blessed 🙌

According to the 'Basquiat' movie, Jean Michel HIMSELF approached Warhol with 'Wanna buy some ignorant Art?'...... People intellectualise, but it's NOW that he's influencing kids to find their own way, & produce work (painting, music, dance, writing, film......) that speaks for themselves & their culture....🙏🏼🌹🙏🏽
