Jungkook supposed to be a rapper and sub vocalist according to their early concept which is hiphop. But when concept is changed, bighit made him main vocalist. As bighit didn't have money, they couldn't hire good vocal coaches. So he practiced on his own. Thus someone can find his singing isn't technically accurate, his vocal quality is awesome. After bts got money, bighit wanted to jk again, but jk didn't go to train as he feared that he might loose his vocal quality which is loved by fans worldwide

Pls be fr. Hes not even top 40 kpop vocalist. Let alone being able to touch the likes of Park Hyo Shin, Kyuhyun, Naul, Kim Bumsoo, Jung Dongha. Hes barely above average technically. He has a nice tone but he is a stylistic vocalist first and foremost. He severely lacks in breath support.

I am amazed when I watch his VLive broadcasts, and he sings karaoke for ARMY….it is the most beautiful and effortless thing I’ve seen. He sings all the time, he has settled into his self and his ability. It is wonderful to watch and listen to. Balm to my soul.
