Why is marriage hard?

Is marriage too hard or do we simply make things difficult?

We make things difficult. Just about every problem in marriage comes from within the marriage, not outside of it. Also, as one who believes in the Bible's creation account, due to the selfishness of Adam and Eve in disobeying God in hopes for their own power, humanity has the same nature of working in our own favor to gain the "power" in the relationship. Marriage is a battle against oneself to learn to work as one mind and one body, much like how the Trinity works. (Although all three bodies of the Trinity are equal in power and immortality, They yield to Each Other in love. The Father stands at the head, Son yields to the Father, the Holy Spirit yields to the Son. And the Father yields to the Son and the Spirit to care for their desires as well. This creates a perfect order among equally powerful Beings. Much like how a wife is to yeild to the husband, and the children are to yield to the parents, and the father yields to the wife and kids and provide for their desires.) Thats why the Bible states that two people become one person when they are married, because the ultimate goal of marriage is complete and total ONENESS.
