Homeopathy can no longer be said as cheaper. Advanced homeopathic Doctors are charging Rs 5000/pm to Rs. 10000/pm. It is costilier than allopathic treatment.

I feel this article should be titled - Why is Homoeopathy not as popular as Modern Medicine? Then the purpose of this video is clear. I had a brief discussion with Dr.Sankaran, and concluded that it is not a criticism of Modern Medicine on his part, but an explanation as to why homoeopathy is relative unknown or accepted in many parts of the world. In India, fortunately, people have a greater exposure to Homoeopathy, and even many doctors of modern medicine refer patients routinely for homoeopathic treatment. All that we as doctors care about it that patients should get relief soon. Our purpose is, as written on the statue of a great man - To cure sometimes, to relieve often, to comfort always.

People go to allopathy because allopathy in the chance of getting result is more than that of homeopathy. It is because proper remedy selection is very very tough in homeopathy and in little tough cases GP of homeopathy fails often.

Medicines are cheaper but the fees of doctors is equal to modern medicine practitioners. It takes too long to cure chronic cases along with aggravations makes it impossible for naive to trust. And I have noticed one thing makes it even worse is because there are no Drs available like Rajan shankaran. Homeopathic experience is different with best Dr. Some of the bhms are practising totally wrong homeopathy. So rather than modern pharmaceutical industries it's homeopaths are their ememies. Please go to homeopaths and ask for their fees and tell me if cheaper medicines reflect in it. And i believe just tell ur fee structure and show how cheaper medicines makes ur fees so exorbitant. With due respect homeopathy is not cheaper at all.

How does diluting something until it's barely present in solution make it have more effect? Also, why charge as much as you do for it? How is the minuscule amount of active ingredient in your drug (all of which you claim to be readily available all natural ingredients I can't imagine cost very much) worth charging anything more than pocket change for? Fair enough, conventional medicine is expensive, but it's got boatloads of science behind it, and is visibly extremely effective. Homeopathy is still expensive, but doesn't have nearly the efficacy, nor the scientific evidence backing it up.

People go to homeopathy because most people nowadays are suffering from life style diseases like hbp, HBS,diabetes, high cholesterol etc. Homeopaths often fail to treat these successfully.
