what if the muted portion isn't containing anything except for me myself speaking? every time i take a highlight from my twitch, it doesn't matter what the content consists of, theres always a huge portion of thee clip that gets muted. I can't tell if being censored by youtube or if it's a twitch thing thats screwing me, but i def shouldnt be getting censored cuz I def dont say crazy shit. I'm frustrated as hell, just trying to save my streams as highlights to compile into yt vids. Honestly I'm about to just quit at this point cuz it's so maddening. I don't even play music at all in my streams.

So I just got muted using soundtrack by twitch. Should I then select the "I have permission ect" appeal reason? I hate that there isn't any way to type in a reason yourself.

Bummer .. got away with the same song for months then all the sudden start getting muted vods for that song.. I appreciate this though cause it helped me identify the exact song.. still wish twitch would give us the option to not have them mute audio so that we can take our own risk without having to dispute.. cause I seriously don't think on this song that I will ever get caught using it.. it's so low key

Okay so I streamed nhl 22. It has an in game soundtrack that plays during the main menu. I got muted for that!! Now ALL my stream vods are muted even when I’m just talking. How can I get my videos unmuted?!

Twitch muted only part of the song. i played stereo madness geometry dash and it only muted the last 6 minutes of it... uhhh

So the music is coming out on your VOD with Twitch Soundtrack? It shouldn’t, so I’d say try to reinstall. If that doesn’t work, and you’re using OBS, use the VOD track. You should be good as far as DMCA goes, but getting it muted is pretty annoying.

@@Beatwalker I figured it out, I had to delete twitch soundtrack from my sources on stream labs and it fixed it. Found the issue on reddit lol

@@Beatwalker ya I had it appealed, just strange that it gets flagged for "his content". Noticed today another was flagged and muted for the same reason, just filed an appeal and contacted support about the issue.
