oh and I like to poke holes in the soil with a chopstick to allow the water to get through. Helps to reairate the soil too

Hey, that 1cup of water wouldn’t be enough water. Really shouldn’t fertilize a dry plant it’s so much easier to burn the roots. I’d make a bet that plant is root bound. Info from the 💚

Haha hey there, I know that one cup is not enough it was just to demonstrate the dryness of the soil. Thanks for the tip about the burning roots never heard of that. Luckily the fertilizer is very weak so hopefully it won’t burn any roots! 🙏🏼💚

@@PlantingPlants They use to teach that about the fertilizer anyway. I didn’t think I liked that peace Lilly but more I see it the better I like it. 😀

Burning is more likely with synthetic than organic fertiliser. Not that it can't happen with the latter of course.
