I just use pon with regular nursery pots with drainage holes so I flush using shower method when watering. Do I just fertilise after flushing?

If you cut the top will it never grow taller again on that stem?

Thanks for the video. I have few questions: 1-Do we cut the tip off if we do notching? 2-Didn't mean the new branches come out from where we notched?

🤔 For the Begonias try a 50/50 mix of potting soil and Pon. Begonias like a moist soil but also well drained soil. The capillary action of the Pon should retain enough water to allow the potting soil to retain the correct amount of moisture. 🤷🏽‍♂️ just a though. Hope it is helpful.

I repotted my yellow fusion to lechuza 2 weeks ago, but in a glass cylinder with keramsit at the bottom, and some portion of moss for better grow of the roots. Now she is going fine, I hope she will stay for a longer period😊

Hi, I have a question about fertilizing. I use the cache pot method, would I just add fertilizer to the water that sits at the bottom and then leave it there or should I let it sit for some time and then change the water for a clear one? Also, how often would you recommend flushing? Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your video!

I cut off the top of the plant with multiple leaves and put rooting hormone on the cut then put in soil. Works every time. I never saved the base of the plant with the roots, but I am wondering if leaves would grow where it was cut also.

Hi Thijmen! Happy to have found your Pon videos, super helpful! Random question: I see a Lyrata in your background, is she in Pon too? In my experience, Lyrata is a really fussy type of Ficus, so I'm a bit reserved of transferring her out of soil :(

This specimen serves as a compelling illustration of why you should refrain from pinching or pruning the apical bud of your F. Elastica if it is not receiving adequate light. The wide inter-nodal spacing and sparse leaves in this particular plant indicate lower light conditions.

@@PlantingPlants I've shared my thoughts, drawing from my personal experiences, observations, and the information I gathered from your video. Typically, when there are elongated internodes and sparse leaves, it often suggests a deficiency of light.

Excellent video! One question. When I need to transplant a plant which has grown in Pon already, and is simply going into a larger container filled with Pon how do I water it? From top for a while, or straight away use the bottom watering system?

Enjoy watching your channel, however your audio is very low. I think your Andanosii needs dappled sunshine to photosynthesis to obtain green leaves parts. Plus you should throw out that media. Use new media and a sterilized pot. Looks like it’s had way too much water. I let mine dry out completely before I water again. Js
