About 3.5 years ago, I found Maddie on KZbin....and she inspired me to live the life I dreamed about. About a week into watching her videos, I applied for my passport (mine was expired). Three days after I got my passport, I was on a plane to Mexico. I was single with a dog, had my kids raised and ready to start living my best life. I always knew where I wanted to live in Mexico (it's a BIG country) but knew I couldn't move to my slice of paradise until I spoke Spanish. When I moved, all I knew was a few polite phrases. Three years later, without a single class, I'm communicating effectively but I'll soon be taking classes. Anyway, long story short, Im moving to my paradise next week into a beautiful brand new home that I never would have imagined I could have had. Now, I didn't need or want anything brand new but it's what I've found and I can't wait to drink my morning cuppa looking at the beautiful Mexican 🏞️ and being able to walk out my door and be hiking with my callejero within 5 minutes. Life is Good!!! And for me, life in Mexico is my dream come true❤❤❤ Thank you soooo much @MaddieGold for showing me that I can live my dream! You don't have to be wealthy to live your dreams. You only need a desire, realistic expectations and willingness to adapt. Viva Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

Maddie what a gem of a venture video. You took my advice and returned to Bernal for the food, sites Monolith and great times. I’m so glad you had company with you as your popularity has brought you far more attention than you might have anticipated. Wow your Gordita looked delicious as you stated that Bernal is your favorite but I can’t convince you to put on a pair of hiking boots and climb the Monolith. San Joaquin was also beautiful specifically the Los Herrera Caves with the colored lights on the walls. Now Pueblo Magico was different parking in the center of the street and umbrella shaded streets. You always select the favorite meals…enchiladas, rice, beans and salad with Cecina Beef. You had the whole house laughing when you said it was kind of Beef Jerkyish then your friend said they hang it and dry it out to bring out the flavor. What? Then you said that what you ate was probably one of the best meals you’ve had in a really long time. Next Maddie you broke your own code by playing footsies with your Marshmallow fixed on sticks chaparon with melting chocolate. Then you made a Mars Taco 🌮 oh my goodness that’s why I like you so much your “Original”! Then on to breakfast of Green Chilaquiles with Cecina aka: Beef Jerky and most popular was “Frogville” where Maddie established a location for all MaddieGold frogs to meet and greet. What a flavorful and adventurous vlog. Loved It!
