No panning🤯it’s crazy to think they left that one out.

When you say "the Ulanzi one", which model? They have dozens of tripods…
@AnthonyRodriguezz7 күн бұрын
The main one that everybody compares it to. The one they collaborated w/Coman to make. I should’ve clarified , sorry!

Look at the new shiny Falcam Treeroot tripod. Its head fixes all the cons of Freerover, and it can be replaced with any other (like fluid video) head.
@AnthonyRodriguezz7 күн бұрын
I saw that! Doesn’t have the quick latch feature though 😏
@softshape7 күн бұрын
@@AnthonyRodriguezz it's cool but I have 10-years old Velbon Ultra Maxi L tripod with "one latch for all" approach and it has its own cons, when you're working with dirt surface the lowest latch becomes dirty too. Treeroot has something between clips and latches so it extends really fast. IMHO they just have two different ways to gets the same result so it's matter of personal preference.

Thanks for this review, this one twist funciton looks nice, but just saw the tribex and it's really far more interesting for me but it's not the same price
@AnthonyRodriguezz3 күн бұрын
Looks really nice! It’s definitely a full sized video tripod though. So if size is a concern, this is your go to

Try the leofoto ls285C , its a bit heavier for sure , but its a DAMN GOOD TRIPOD

@@AnthonyRodriguezz yeah , I just got mine , same height , no center column and a damn good ball head , after trying pretty much all the travel tripod I could get my hands on , settled on a regular tripod ( it should do the job as a travel tripod for me ) AND IT PANS

hahaha man that's so funny. I have the same tripod and the same video idea written on my notes, but my tittle is slightly different "the Best tripod no one is talking about" hhahaha crazy. Great video tho, and I really like this tripod too.

I don’t think you can change the head on this tripod either
@AnthonyRodriguezz7 күн бұрын
You can actually!
@Joh1465 күн бұрын
There are reasons for this tripod but in comparison to the Ulanzi it's not high enough for me and the folded size is not so compact and the tripod is too heavy with nearly 1,4 kg.

I have a Sirui travel tripod with the same mechanism. It doesn't look quite as sturdy, but I think it's smaller and lighter weight than the Smallrig one.
@AnthonyRodriguezz8 күн бұрын
I saw that one! Does it have a twist for each section like the Smallrig one in case you want to adjust?
@DangAlvinFilms8 күн бұрын
@@AnthonyRodriguezz It doesn't necessarily have a twist for each section. The leg is a telescoping design that has sections that get thinner and thinner. You can twist any part of the leg and adjust as necessary then twist it back to lock. It's really different! I kept it on my backpack for 8 days in Japan and it was so lightweight! Edit: It actually can lock per section. It's hard to describe, definitely best to try it for yourself.
@OrigEntertainmentOfficial7 күн бұрын
No panning? Plus those twists locks. I hate those. I had a Sirui carbon fiber monopod with the twist locks that broke on me. But no panning is no go to begin with.
@AnthonyRodriguezz7 күн бұрын
@@OrigEntertainmentOfficial these are gooooood. It’s a single twist lock that unlocks them all. The panning thing is a huge bummer though

sorry you wont like this ...The Falcam Tree Root is better. Seriously if it takes an extra second or 2 to set up a tripod that's not gonna be a life-threatening situation cameras and Photography people have stopped with speed of everything at such an American thing, my goodness slow the hell down..... The falcam is a lot better than this. you had the Y 38. The Falcam has panning ... Sorry people this is not even close to being the quality of the falcam tree root
@AnthonyRodriguezz7 күн бұрын
I don’t like it but it’s your opinion and that’s completely fine! The tree root tripod is definitely a very solid tripod. The falcon tripod is actually terrible for me. My camera has almost fallen out many times and that defeats the purpose of a tripod
@nevvanclarke92257 күн бұрын
@@AnthonyRodriguezz did you use it with an L bracket or did you have a clip? I haven't had a problem with it. There is a little trick to it and that's put the camera in the slot and then rock it back. I liked the Falcam because it was kind of in between a travel tripod and a full tripod it's almost in between. It's a little bit heavier than the other ones but I don't mind that. The key to that tripod is an L bracket on your camera which protects your camera as well. I shoot professionally in Australia. And mostly landscapes and seascapes. I have found this camera to be great at keeping out the salt water as well.
