I wouldn't say Lithium Iron Phosphate are a little bit uglier, they are much better than dealing with disgusting looking acid from lead-acid batteries. The lifetime cost is so much lower because lead-acid never lasts as long as promised, even with 7+ day storage in an off-grid application. It doesn't matter much to be grid-tie is my best option because I get full net metering including payout for any overproduction, although many states don't hold that advantage.

You are correct. We missed making the distinction between LFP and NMC (also lithium ion). 🙏🏼 That being said, one to one net metering makes a ton of sense if you can leverage it (which you can). Congrats on your solar 🎉
