Our behavior has nothing to do with receiving a free gift, eternal life. Second Corinthians 9;13. It has to do with rewards or loss of rewards in heaven. Not the free gift of eternal life. Salvation is free. Rewards in heaven are earned. A gift is paid for by the giver in advance. A GIFT is received from the GIVER. Jesus is the giver of eternal life to all who have received the free gift. No one can earn it. The GIFT of God is eternal life. If you have eternal life to day, you will still have it 1,000 years from now because it is eternal life. John 10:28-29.

@@monkaZETTA Romans 11:6. Saved by grace apart from any works. Works never saved one person. Saved by a one time faith alone apart from any works. Romans 4:5. But to him that worketh not, does nothing, but BELIEVETH on Him who justifieth the UNGODLY, his faith is counted for His perfect righteousness. We have to be as righteous as God to enter heaven. And all our righteousness is as filthy rags. But He has IMPUTED His perfect righteousness to our account. Second Corinthians 5:21. He took the punishment for all our sin, and has given us His perfect righteousness. Romans 3:26-28. You cannot boast in a free GIFT that we did nothing for but BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God. Acts 16:31. First John 5:13. John 6:47. But now that we have eternal life, we can earn rewards in heaven. First Corinthians 3:11-15. And we can be chastened by the Lord for living in those sins named in Colossians 3:5-6. But we cannot lose eternal life, or it would not be eternal life. John 10:28-29. Hebrews 13:5. John 6:40. Gods word, and He cannot lie. John 3:18.
