A accurate review in my book To all those neigh sayers out there, who most likely have never driven one (or could afford one) I have one, and as a farmer use it in anger offroad, pulling trailers, taking kids + their paraphernalia out and last of all hurtling up and down motorways to meetings etc I must say its exemplary in all ways, comfortable, spacious, full of tech, but yet utilitarian at the same time.. Who really wouldnt want one? I get most of those against them probably have no need for one... I say in that case just stick to your Kia Sportage or Ford whatever it is

Exactly right. It’s nice to hear from someone using them as intended. It’s good to hear they still perform like a defender should especially in the farm setting. People commenting in here I doubt have even had the pleasure of using one of the new ones

The old Defender was a utility vehicle. Few were used by families. The new 'Defender' is a pseudo Discovery passenger car for the well heeled middle classes. Should have called It a Discovery in the first place.
