Why is the NEW 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 the BEST full size SUV I would BUY?

The Yukon AT4 is a first from GMC for 2021. Being an AT4 makes this an off road version of their new redesigned Yukon. Under the hood is a 5.3L V8 that is producing 355HP & mated to a 10 speed automatic transmission. The AT4 has a 2in lift from the factory, unique wheels Rancho off road suspension, and skid plates for protection. Honestly just wish GM made it an option to pick the Cadillac dash/displays...it's going to eat at me after playing with the larger full digital displays. Unless I am mistaken, The 2 inch lift comes from the air susp which is also on the Den. There is no additional lift to the AT4 trim over the Den.

14:45 technically not incorrect, but it is about 25.5 ft³ for standard Yukon, it is 41.5 ft³ behind the 3rd row for the XL you have here, 144.7 ft³ with second and 3rd rows seats folded. Love your videos.15:37 hahaha, taking a couch off-roading, very original.

Interior kills it for me.I can kind of accept the fact that the interior is a copy of the Tahoe but on the GMC site they only give one interior color option and that is close to a deal breaker for me.Hope they add more options to it. A diesel option would be nice too.

It’s interesting that you said the 6.2L is not available on the AT4. During the Yukon reveal, the GMC reps said that the Diesel would not be available on it but e 6.2L would be. Perhaps they changed it. I know it would make more sense as the low end torque from the diesel is very hand in off road applications, but it wouldn’t be as awesome as the 6.2L in other areas.

10 speeds are much more efficient. It allows the engine to maintain better speeds and stay in the power band easier. Today's transmissions are now working around engine demands rather than engines working around transmissions

So, the Yukon XL cargo volume is 144.7 cubic feet. Which is 250,041 cubic inches. A twinkie is about 7.5 cubic inches. Which would work out to being able to fit about 33,338 twinkies in the Yukon XL.
