I’m very exited to receive my new CLP-775 tomorrow! I’ve played it a several times in the shops and the sound and touch is just outstanding. I even like it more the NU Series a pupil has one at home. Don’t like the touch and reaction there. Thanks for your video! You explained it very well!

Are the samples of the first two pianos the same on clp 735, 745 and 775 (I mean compression and quality wise) and so having the same experience with headphones? I've tried the clp 735 and I wasn't very satisfied with the sound so I would like to know if anything changes with the upper models. Thanks

How would you compare 775 with a U1? When you play with it, does it similar ? What s the difference?

I have a stupid question. I work with the 775 for 2 years. And I didn't use the metronome just because it's disturbing me to change the settings every session. Isn't it possible tho save the settings for the next session? I didn't want that the clp after new start go back to the general settings..... thank you

You can use the backup function to save all of your voicing settings. You can try this for the metronome timing.

Hi there. Is he playing on the piano with audio cables plugged into some recording device or is that how it sounds?And are the keys noisy especially when you play faster pieces. I have a crappy Casio Privia base model and the keys are cluckety clukety cluckety cluck 😒

Вот вам два примера. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jn-nnX2Qn5uaq5Y и орган kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6C1nJyca5tng5I Most likely it's through an audio cable. I play on a 785. Of course, the keys rattle if you turn down the volume and try to play forte. The keys click on all instruments, even concert grand pianos and even organs. There's just no volume control. You play a piano on a grand piano, you press the key gently, so it doesn’t knock, you play loudly - forte, the sound is loud and drowns out the knocking of the keys. But he is. Here are two examples. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jn-nnX2Qn5uaq5Y and organ kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6C1nJyca5tng5I

I bought one after I lost my U1 in a fire;😢. I really like it but I find the key action is really loud. Is that the same on all of them or do you think mine could be defective? I know a digital piano will never be exactly like an acoustic, but I find the loud key action is very distracting when I’m play. If you have a moment to let me know if the other 775s have the same issue, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

If you think about playing an acoustic piano, you cannot turn it down in volume or play on headphones, therefore you do not notice the key noise which is there, on any digital if you have it on a low enough volume or on headphones key noise will be audible. It's not impossible it could be a fault but it is very unlikely. Hope that helps

Thanks for responding so fast. I will say the sound on headphones is outstanding.I am classically trained and I have played on other digital pianos in my 58 years, I just don’t remember the key action ever being so distracting. Other than that, I’m very happy with it, I just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same experience with that model. Thanks again for responding! Have a great day!

Is the touch of the 775 too heavy?

Dear Theresa, same here. But in my opinion not a problem. I hear the keys just with really low volume.

@@verymozart sorry for delayed response. No I don’t find the touch to heavy at all. It’s great other than the action noise, which if you keep headphones on you don’t hear at all.

I feel like the clavicles are not normal in some way، not like real or digital، hand weight and touch and the size of the clavicle is a little unusual.

Also it doesn't have counterweights, and only the white keys are wooden, and shorter than an acoustic grand piano

I have this piano . Honestly I don’t notice any problems in playing the 775. It sounds completely like a GP. I find my self playing for longer at least an hour per day and don’t get tired.

@@timjoseph887 is the key action heavy like the reviews say? I suppose the keys feel lighter as you go up? My 775 is coming in 3weeks. I currently play on a Casio CDP1110 and the keys are somewhat heavy and have the same weight throughout the whole keyboard. When I play certain songs like Golden Hour, my fingers get really tired.

@@anneroche3187 I was in the same situation. If I had never read about it, I would not have been aware of it. I do okay and it’s not a problem for me. It feels like a real piano. Let me know your experience! I did not want to pay another 1k for the 785 and honestly I do not regret my selection at all as the 775 is really just about perfect. Giulia, sinceramente non è un problema che i tasti siano pesanti. Anzi io lo vedo a lungo termine come in grande vantaggio.
@verymozart
@verymozart Жыл бұрын
@@MD-qz6gkthanks for your reply. Mhm.. I don't know, if too heavy, it's an unnecessary effort for an unrealistic heaviness, and it's going to affect the performance when you play on acoustic concert pianos highly advanced classical music repertoire, it affects the virtuosismo, it can favourite a too tough keyboard touching, and it's harder to deliver delicate passages.. Also the 775 doesn't have counterweights. Initially I was considering getting this because of the heavier touch than the Kawai CA 79/701. But the 701 has a more responsive key action, counterweights on all the keyboard, and all wood keys white and black, and the same length of the acoustic grand pianos keys, and a new Grand pedal system. So I'm still undecided , but now I'm considering take the Kawai. I need in this budget ( can't take an acoustic), a digital piano most suitable to take and pass an exam such as the LTCL Trinity College Performance diploma recital exam. And for the details I listed, the Kawai CA 701 seems more suitable than the Yamaha CLP 775. Of course it's not an easy choice at all
