I get the feeling this was a more sentimental construction to Tristan. The statue of Kalli, the sign saying "I miss you Kali," and the simplicity of it being a lone spire in (visually) endless void, makes me feel like there was a deep connection between the two, and Kali may have died. Hence, Kalli's Gape would serve as a place for Tristan to grieve. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it. :P

Someones' probably already said this. But the sign in the video, during Fit talking about the copied statue of Kali, specifically in the black and white edit..... it said "I miss you Kali".... So, maybe it was someone he deeply cared about.... maybe he loved her. And maybe she died. So the hole, or "gape" he created.... signifies the hole her absence has left in his life. Cheesy, sure. But, also meaningful. And honestly, if I had the power iTristian did, I'd do something like that. On a server that was an important part of my life.
