Nice, Stagecoach South West here in Exeter have a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van which gets used on route 43 from Pinhoe Train Station to Exeter Airport.

The use of this minibus reminds me of one route bus here in Malta, the 109, that operated with subcontracted minivans between late 2013 and mid 2015 due to a shortage of buses that fit into some roads it served

That's a private hire mini bus, obviously hired to fill-in on that section during the road works. The Open Reach van it passed is a van.

Its a minibus, not a van. Van has less than 9 passenger seats and has panels instead of windows.

It is still a van though. It’s literally a Citroen relay that has been converted to carry passengers

​@Fobar90 no, it's literally a Fiat Ducato 3.9t chassis with wide track rear axle and left the factory as a minibus. It has never ever been a van. Can't be driven by a driver with a van license. The driver will need minimum a D1 license and a drivers PSV CPC and digital tacho card. A van would look very similar with no rear windows, 3.5t chassis and standard rear axle and anyone with a car drivers licence can drive it.

If it makes you feel better, There's a route here in Merseyside that runs Mondays and Fridays only, in one direction, titled "Route 66". It's not on any systems, and it uses a weird mellor mini bus.

Because 464 is operated by Abellio but Transport UK bought Abellio hence why the TUK decal is on it..

TUK usually run the 464, but the van is owned and operated by Go-Coach so since they basically share the service both logos are on it
