Why is WA's Cannabis Advisory Service still a pipe dream? 🌿

If we take them at their word, the WA Government supports - in principle at least - the establishment of a cannabis advisory service here in WA. That being the case, why haven’t they made any reportable progress on establishing one in the last twelve months?
They are happy to claim that cannabis use can lead to drowsiness and lethargy, but it’s the Cook Government who are sluggish and uncoordinated in this case!

Medicinal cannabis is not readily available in WA. A doctor can refer you to legalized dealers who give you a guarantied prescription at very high prices. If you have the $$$ they will give you the product. For the rest? they have to risk outdated laws to access what they so desperately need, and receive no medical guidance on using it. Way to help your people WA.

It is very easily accessible in W.A. people are just unaware of how to obtain a prescription. The best we can do in Western Australia right now is make people aware of how to get a prescription and the benefits of switching to medical. The Price of medicinal cannabis is not higher than street prices. Also majority of street weed is absolute crud . Fact is the doctors in W.A don't want to give out medical cannabis. Only about 1% of W.A. doctors will give you a prescription and they cost hundreds of dollars to get an appointment with huge wait times. There are numerous websites with doctors that specifically do Medical cannabis prescriptions they have become so competitive that some are now Bulk Billing your appointments and offering Health care card discounts of 10% off all orders. Your dried flower is delivered to your door. 10g for about $130 seems fine when 30g is about $400 on the street. Same price basically.

True "legalisation" would make sense, certainly not medicalization, which just like politicisation, judiciarisation (and more) puts all sorts of socio-toxic endoctrinated self-serving predators in power. In The Name Of Children, they say... "Fix-my-Kid" "Kids-for-Cash" "Narconon Trois-Rivières"

Thanks for making medical cannabis so expensive and to loose your car License or your job if you use medical cannabis even thou not impaired . I’m sure there are a lot of people been caught in your fiasco of Disgraceful governance.

It's not expensive , 30g on the street costs the same as 30g from a prescription. Also no-one takes your licence just for getting a prescription . If you get drug tested while driving however you might. you also might need to find a job that doesn't drug test .

I refer to the driving or work place which makes no sense even getting a prescription if it’s going to cost your job or driving Lic ..also it also depend what you rate as expensive , in confront to other prescriptions it’s very expensive !
