Muscle spasms, all gone, pain all gone, I felt relief, knowing that I could feel normal again and function, I am 21 now and feel like my life was stolen from me years ago, but now I'm back and can do anything, I can drive and go to college now, and I can watch a movie in theatres, listen and make music properly, and just be grateful for what I have, and the friends that stuck with me. My grandpa died from Parkinson’s in November of 2019. We lived in a state that did not have legal Medical Marijuana. He was an Air Force Veteran and, even with all of the evidence behind marijuana’s uses in Parkinson’s, refused to try it (or even CBD products) as he felt he was going against country he had fought so hard to protect. His last year alive he was bent over and crippled, confused, and had to be taken care of in every aspect of his life. It breaks my heart that if it had been legal in our state he could have had a peaceful and painless last few years with us. He could have died resembling the strong, intelligent, independent caretaker of a man we had always known him as.

Sorry for your loss. Yeah I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that marijuana has a bad name. Sure it can be abused, but it does wonders. And if people are gonna do it, they’ll just buy it illegally. Better for them to get it from a trusted place rather than a criminal. I hope one day it’s federalized legal or they at least allow more medical reasons for attaining a card.

And if he'd found something else that works, do you really think he'd be risking using it back when it was still illegal in 90% of places in the US? Also cannabis has more applications than just Parkinson's. I use it for stomach issues, which has nothing to do with dopamine. Some folk use it to help with the pain of chemotherapy. Hell, CBD oil is being studied as a good treatment for epileptic seizures. Cannabis isn't a cure all, but it does have fantastic results in trials for some medical conditions, and that's great. Wow, I never expected medical marijuana to be that effective so fast. I’d heard that for many people it was the only way to relieve pain without prescription opioids but I never thought I’d see a man go from being unable to control his hands and barely being able to speak to sitting calmly and asking people clearly if they’ve had lunch yet just through the power of weed. That’s truly amazing

What an incredible medicine. Someone who knows them needs to see this and just get them some marijuana. I understand how frustrating it must be to not be legally allowed to get it but it must be fairly easy to find a dealer in most places.

The only real good thing our failure of a prime minister did in Canada, legalizing it.
@tevarinvagabond11922 жыл бұрын
@@jesseroberts1041 there's a difference between it being prescribed, and being freely available in stores... marijuana for "normal" people eventually affects the neuron connections in your brain and make it harder to have deep thoughts. Yes, it takes years of extended use to get to that point, but it IS addictive not in the sense that itself is addictive, but people crave it for the relief/calm it potentially can give. Don't touch mind-altering substances, better to deal with your issues through self discipline and not drugs...

It really is amazing to see in literal seconds how helpful this is. In about 100 seconds he was able to almost fully relax with no movements.... its ridiculous this is still illegal. I suffer from tremors and marijuana instantly helps me to stop shaking its wonderful. Hate how much money places a burden on our lives.
@geraldhammond23823 жыл бұрын
Tell me, do you suffer from essential tremors? I myself have been dealing with them for about three to four years. It wasn't until about a year ago they suddenly became more intense. It's only my fine motor skills that are affected. Eating with utensils, shaving and such.
@joselbazcom42212 жыл бұрын
Bronson and Gerald Hammond, if you are interested in a method to prepare an extract from it, I can share it with you. I have seen some people with tremors improve their motor skills; some more than others. One of my sisters used to suffer from Epilepsy and guided by our family Dr. my parents prepared it. I my self used to suffer from rheumatoid arthritis; used it as well and since I was 19 do not have the diagnosis till today at 54. Just to be clear, I am not selling anything. I just read your comment and thought I would share my personal experience and do not mind sharing what helped me and others.
