You could call it a ''conartranoc'' (co-nar-tra-noc), Contra, the latin word for opposite, mirrored onto itself. Either that or a ''Retrorter'' which is retro, meaning backwards, mirrored. Conartranoc is a little odd cause it kind of butchers the word ''contra'' a bit, but I kind of had to, because otherwise it becomes really hard to say. Meanwhile, ''retrorter'' is truly just ''retro'' mirrored.

That "palindrome" isn't a palindrome means it's heterological. The concept of a word being heterological can lead to a logical paradox. Could be a good topic for a video.

Lots of words aren’t the thing they denote. Verb is a noun. Upside-down is right side up (usually). Stinky has no odor at all. So why should palindrome need to be a palindrome?

BTW, John Hollander's book "Rhyme's Reason" explains standard verse forms in those very forms, e.g., a sonnet about the sonnet, a limerick about the limerick, a rondeau about the rondeau, haiku about haiku.
