I came up with calling the word “flippilf” for a more apt word for palindrome because the words can be flipped without being too different

You could call it a ''conartranoc'' (co-nar-tra-noc), Contra, the latin word for opposite, mirrored onto itself. Either that or a ''Retrorter'' which is retro, meaning backwards, mirrored. Conartranoc is a little odd cause it kind of butchers the word ''contra'' a bit, but I kind of had to, because otherwise it becomes really hard to say. Meanwhile, ''retrorter'' is truly just ''retro'' mirrored.

Aibohphobia, however, is an irrational fear of palindromes. It's quite silly that some -phobias are named to trigger them, I'd say. Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is another.

That "palindrome" isn't a palindrome means it's heterological. The concept of a word being heterological can lead to a logical paradox. Could be a good topic for a video.

Lots of words aren’t the thing they denote. Verb is a noun. Upside-down is right side up (usually). Stinky has no odor at all. So why should palindrome need to be a palindrome?
@kenaikuskokwim969418 сағат бұрын
Drownword? Lexemexel? Emanataname? (It emanates from itself.) It would be fun to discover a Greek palindrome carved in boustrophedon, i.e., alternating left-to-right and right-to-left. BTW, John Hollander's book "Rhyme's Reason" explains standard verse forms in those very forms, e.g., a sonnet about the sonnet, a limerick about the limerick, a rondeau about the rondeau, haiku about haiku.

If we declare that a nialpxeeman is a discussion about palindromes, then this video itself becomes a palindrome, since it is now a Name Explain nialpxeeman.
