This is basically the very basic philosophy of Islam that do not collect so much things for you, because you have to leave everything here. The less the things the lighter you are. And I have learned that Japanese have such minimalistic lifestyle.

Yes, Yes!!! That is so true, Islam has repeatedly explained that Dunya is just an illusion. It's your test. For society, for people we leave even our Creator behind; It's such a sorry state! 😞

I think the philosophy of Less is More must be adopted. The idea of minimalism is great. However I have seen that minimalism becomes expensive too 😂

You have learned nothing...Islam has already taught mankind everything. People have to follow it ..that's the difference...if only you knew. So less nonsense and more deeds. Islam is already completed by Allah your job is to enter it completely. Do not be weakened by what others (majority) are doing. Develop a relationship with the Qur'an you will not be disappointed. It is not hard to do.

i love your thoughts and really enjoy your videos.. i want to ask you how do you socialize because in this society everyone is so materialistic and judgmental and with a minimalist or simple mindset it gets so difficult to connect to other people and make like-minded friends..i really struggle with making friends due to this reason but one needs to socialize other than family to stay sane.. i would love to know ur thoughts 💕

Salam Loved the way you talk ,reminds me of another vlogger. But plz don’t take it personally, I was watching a few videos of you talking about life and choices…. It seems you are in need of venting. You are looking for friends who understand & appreciate what you’re doing in your life( btw that’s wonderful). It made me think that even leading a simple life isn’t giving you enough contentment. Otherwise you wouldn’t have to be on social media. My duas for you.. may Allah give you peace and validation you are looking for❤. One more thing, I am a fan of Cooked by Sabeen’s positivity and good vibes. If you’ve come across her channel you know. You used the same محاورہ as well (munh laal na karen🤣)thats what made me think are you two related? Take care!

Don't you think this theory of declutter and minimalism is true to single independent families rather Massive joint families in a house? Also, you can't ignore the factor of joint families.

Good changes are always slow...but have greater impact in the long run...just keep spreading the word...try to act even at very small level means in your capacity...with your own personal stuff... it will gradually make its way. I.A

The idea of minimalism should be promoted in Pakistan.it is the need of time

Basically, hoarding may either be caused due to miscalculation to assess the futuristic requirements or due to have excessive money and one does not know how much of the money is to be spent and also on what things. Secondly, it has been observed that in a Pakistani family, normally men spend money on buying things from the market and women accordingly manage those things on need basis. If exact requirement are kept in mind then there is no question of hoarding things. Thirdly, i am inclind that only perishable items in a house should be less in quantity. As regards imperishables, such hoarding should be disposed of by giving to the needee if still in good condition. Well my argument is for the sake of participation in the discussion regardless of the fact that one agrees with my opinion or not.

Extreme of everything is bad. Declttuering is very important . If the house is big its also good that we have some spare beddings, blankets etc for guests. But HORDING is definitely BAD.. its unhealthy and overwhelming.

I don’t have 5 different kinds of serving plates and crockery sets. One set of a nice expensive dinner ware of 12 persons. I have been using it since years now. It’s storage take only one small cabinet… for personal use Only 6 plates 6 glasses and 4 mugs. Nothing more, nothing less. Only one frying pan, only two pans; one for chai, one for cooking. And I don’t like anything on my counter top.

How many clothes would be a bit too hard to tell, ideal would be 3-5 pair of clothes for daily use and 3 probably for formal wear. It's not bad to have clothes but when they become a bit too much, take a lot of time and you see them lying in common places rather than tidily lined up in a cupboard, it's time to find new homes for them. : ) Take tiny steps and you will achieve much in a very little time, trust me!
