Born and raised in SF. Been to Fort Point many times. Mark Twain was correct: it's always cold and blustery out there...especially in the summer! I finally escaped to a town with real summers back in 2003 with my 2nd husband... ;-) Joseph Strauss was a genius!

I'm never going to get there. I'm in Queensland Australia. So I'm glad to have you post this. Heaps of people love a city hey. I grew up in a country town.
