Rin individually is still the best player in BL, but In Isagi's defense, his own team is going against him. I know it gets brought up a lot, but it's still quite a valid point. Rspecially when you think of Isagi would have scored, if Kaiser hadn't stolen the ball from him. If Isagi was the sole ace in BM he, most likely would have had more goals. Not only is his own team after him, but his compettion is the new gen 11, and Rin is Shidou. No disrecpect to Shidou but compared to Kaiser, we all know where he stands. And frankly Rin couldn't strive in BM as much as Isagi, when his own team, is after him. But we do know that is Isagi's biggest strength. His adaptability. So even tho the result Rin has, is better Isagi's still has it more difficult.

I think it’s possible for Rin to be new gen 11 level at this point cause during the flash back Rin talks about to sae how he’s getting recruited just like he did. If Rin had went overseas like sae he would probably have the same level of recognition as the ng11 players. Sae wasn’t NG11 when he first went overseas it happened over time cause when sae first went overseas he was a striker not a midfielder.

I feel like there are tiers to the new gen XI. Like, we saw how Kaiser was absolutely folded by Lorenzo's defense and man-marking abilities. Like, Kaiser literally chickened out and decided to steal from Isagi than trying to find a way to win against Lorenzo. We saw him do the same thing with Chris Prince and he only had a 1v1 against him once he was taunted. From that standpoint, Kaiser during Ubers is probably the weaker of the new gen XI while Lorenzo is slightly stronger. In that way, I think Rin is new gen XI level in that he can go toe-to-toe with Kaiser, but probably would struggle against someone like Lorenzo a little, meaning he is like bottom tier new gen XI while his brother is probably upper tier new gen XI level. At least that's what is seeming to be implied.

What’s even crazier to me is that Shidou was on the field but he was completely outshined by Rin (seeing as his 20M value went to 25M value). And you say Rin is only 30M above Isagi, but… this is literally Rin’s second match, meaning he has 1 more match before facing Bastard Munchen, and he had an original value of 26M, so he jumped up by 154M in the span of a single match, opposed to Isagi jumping 100M in an amazing match against Ubers; whilst Isagi arguably being Next Gen 11 level as well. And the sweating problem is probably due to experience, Next gen 11 and professional players are probably using a method that limits any unnecessary movement that would deter from their playstyle as much as possible to prevent stamina loss. But it’s still impossible for them to not sweat with all that excess body movement logically, so it could just be to show the skill gap between them and normal players. But that’s just speculation.

I personally think making comparisons is useless since everyone's circumstance is different (e.g) Bachira being on the worst team, Basterd Munchen being a battle royal between Isagi, Kaiser(new gen 11 btw), Yukimiya(blind), Kunigami and some other factors, Baro being fed goals and having loyal subordinates, Manshine having Nagi and Reo who have a toxic relationship, and PXG having multiple possible new gens, with Rin and Shidou brawling it out. If you do make comparisons i feel that all this would need to be taken into consideration. ( Definetly some otehr factors in their too)

@clampkage I think you're setting yourself up again my boy. Here's 2 things I think you might be overlooking. 1 Rin's destroyer is strictly mean for 1v1 dominance while soccer is still a team. I wouldn't be surprised if Rin been playing more selfishly at the cost of his team's development. Which Isagi did BM could take advantage of. 2 the biggest X-factor in this game Kaiser. He just got devoured by Isagi and is really pissed. Where often the case causes players to evolve. BM might win against PXG because of Kaiser instead of Isagi. Main reason he lose to Isagi is because he tried too hard to steal from Isagi instead of creating for himself. This is why Isagi's MV won out in this game. Because Isagi uses his MV to see the whole field while others tend to focus too much on a player and/or the ball. And these are just two possibilities. Oh can I think of more.

Rins vision isnt a bit better than isagi, if anything their vision is the same. Only reason rin was a step ahead was because of physicals. We saw this in the second selection, isagi adaptability and iq is what puts himself = to rin. Towards the end of the match he beat rin twice because of it. Also bm likely not losing, this will be isagi debut game as a striker. This is like his first time being a foward since first selection. And isagi will be drastically better in the pxg game, like u said rin was watching isagi matches, isagi is doing the same thing to him. Isagi is about to impress us all, i can already hear the plot armor complaints

Well, if Rin (and the BL world) himself still feels like he has to surpass Sae and Isagi feels he's worth less than half of Kaiser's value, doesn't that in itself say how far behind the NG11 players? He's still under the shadow of Sae despite his performances. Even the commentary still calls him "the genius' younger brother" I just think there's so much context in those matches than just going off on values. It wouldnt be strange to theorise that a player like Agi may be better than the BL players at Manshine 😅

kaiser joined real madrid, ubers is more of a stack team than bm and pxg beat ubers, imo pxg is more stacked than bm, bm don't have nobody, except gagamaru,isagi, yuki,kunigami,hiyori and raichi but thats still not enough, Rin still scored against the world 5,the world 5 was trying to get the matches over real quick too they was playing "hard" but on pxg they have rin,shido,zanetsu,karasu,aoshi,nijiro even when isagi teamed up with nijiro in the 3rd selection, even isagi noticed how swift he was on his feet, considering what team he's on. I think karasu should be able to mark Hiyori and shut him out, since pxg was able to spectate their match against ubers, but at the end IDK LOL Hiyori and Isagi by their selves broke down ubers defense and won the game for them so idk

Ubers isn’t more stacked than bm, they are just good defensively, bm also beat a stronger version of ubers, they had an awakened barou with niko and aiku who unlocked metavision. The players bm have are definitely enough, you also forgot about kurona and kiora gin who are both really good. Ness also might still be in and hes pretty good aswell I doubt karasu will be able to shut out hiori, he typically goes after the weakest player and hiori isn’t weak at all, he was even able to get past lorenzo twice so karasu definitely no completely shutting him down. Plus the bm player will be ok break when the next matches happen so they will be able to watch pxg next match aswell

Current itoshi Rin is easily new gen 11 lvl .. i mean he once stoped itoshi sae in his berserker form where he still had no clue about metavision ( isagi claimed that itoshi sae was using metavision in their U20 match when he got a grasp of what metavision is ) also what would've stopped kaiser from scoring 2 goals at least not a hattrick against manchincity lol ? i know isagi played a major role in restricting kaiser for his favor to devour him but do you think that current rin wouldn't be able to score 2-3 goals against manchinecity if he was playing in bastard munchen ? my point is that rin already surpassed kaiser and currently he's the best in NEL but isagi's slightly better metavision is what makes him his rival and the closest to him after kaiser .. i mean how did isagi got recognized by rin ? it was due to his strategies in their final bout in the second selection that rin admitted that he lost against isagi but won the match due to luck only bro if rin has better spacial awareness and better metavision than isagi .. sae would've recognized him instead of isagi by the end of U20 match and isagi wouldn't even come close to be his rival given that rin is way better physically ( isagi isn't the only one who made his physical stats grow better )

Barou went up 30 million with 2 goals and losing so if rin scored another hattrick and won then he would at the bear minimum go up 50 mil putting him at 230 mil to isagi’s 150 which means isagi would have to put up a hattrick while rin does nothing in the pxg match in order for isagi to have any chance of passing him and im saying this because i would find it useless for isagi to finally beat rin but still not be the number 1 player in blue lock so here’s to hoping my boy shidou gets himself off fraud watch😅
