I think I've been learning is there's a way to achieve alot of these things on a low budget and that's what been helping me level up and get better boards. Nothing amazingly big yet but I'm finally working with agencies and not getting big things but they've noticed the effort despite the budget. Soon!!! We'll be here

Thanks, I really appreciate and enjoy these interviews. On the topic of directors cuts, one thing I feel is never really addressed in interviews like this one is how directors cuts are paid for in terms of expensive cost things like VFX shots when the client/agency are going with a different cut…?? as sometimes like he says this could end up being only a single shot difference… but from experience it could easily be a lot more work than that to get to realise your vision that they bought at the treatment stage. Cheers

Everything is “my my my” I can’t stand “directors” who talk about the department heads and department laborers as possessions! Gross! Dude is a nepo-baby as usual (handed everything!) WY raised NY “filmmaker” dude was born into opportunity and now likes to pretend he has clawed and sweated for each inch of his opportunities… he hasn’t. Success is usually about placement and it’s just a fact that some people are placed ahead of others at birth. Def not an A meritocracy! His DP is really good though and should be the one directing!
