Germany abandoning Nuclear Power is the dumbest geopolitical move of the 21st century. You've gotta remember that the 2011 earthquake was the LARGEST earthquake in Japanese history. The Plant withstood the Earthquake itself, It was the record height of the Tsunami that got over the Tsunami protections for the plant and caused the issue, which was only by a few meters at that. The plant was built to resist any disaster Japan had seen in the last 1500 years. There is no reason to think that other Japanese nuclear power plants are insufficient in their disaster preventions, And no reason why Nuclear capacity was stopped in Japan following 2011 (at least for so long). I think it's great Japan is finally coming back to reasonable sensibilities on Nuclear Power, Start them all back up as soon as possible.

Yeah... Putting gasoline generators on the BASEMENT was very stupid of them... Hope they learned and had made improvements

Japan became a leader in nuclear energy production since 1945, with two units producing 170 GJ of power together in just a second

Well its a cost efficient power plant compared to other type of energy And remember that the lesson of Chernobyl is not that nuclear is dangerous but slavs are too dumb to boil water

With the spread of cloud services and the development of generative AI, data centers equipped with high-performance GPUs specialized for AI processing are becoming widespread. Data centers are dedicated facilities designed to safely and efficiently install and manage servers and network equipment. The internal server racks, fast lines, cooling equipment, etc. require a stable supply of large-capacity power. The resumption of nuclear power plant operations in Japan is largely due to the power supply for this very purpose. As proof of this, Japan's electric power companies themselves are beginning to attract data centers.
