The Japanese government can print as much JPY as it wants. There is no debt ceiling nor a watcdog like the British Office for Budgetary Responsibility.

The Global financial system that we have today assures recession and inflation year after year Because they print more money then they should to meet expenses and debt servicing causing devaluation in currency and inflation On top of it other currencies are backed by US dollar but US dollar is backed by nothing ( not Gold ) causing devaluation in US dollar which subsequently means devaluation in other currencies hence Global inflation

Japanese debt is mostly domestically owned,that's why they are a outlier compared to other countries

@@santostv. The BOJ holds 588 triilion yen government bonds making its BS overly bloated. The BOJ has almost no teeth to fight the current inflation.

China dumped US bonds. Japan buys all US bonds. US flew to Japan for "debt restructuring" in other word telling Japan to wipe off those bonds, hence Japan economy tumbling down. Japanese people worked, ended up suicide or death by overworking, and all their hardwork is to pay American conglomerate getting richer and building up more debt.

The reason or a factor of it would be the fact that Japan depends economically strongly on the US.

Good? They are the most indebted developed country in the world, so they have no safe way to combat rising inflation. If they raise their interest rates, their economy will crater. Their stock market collapsed by 12% in one day because their central bank increased interest rate by 0.25% and signalled to increase it more in the future. Increasing interest rates is one of the most effective ways to combat inflation, but Japan has so much debt slushing around in their economy that makes the increasing of interest rates suicidal. Their central bank gave up a few days ago and announced that they won't increase interest rates again this year. But their inflation is rising and faster every month.

@jnfunvufb 27 күн бұрын
Also, those who say "they won't increase rate this year" is NOT the opinion of BOJ, but one of many vise presidents, and the Chief Chairmen Ueda did not say that.
@fupopanda

@@jnfunvufb Makoto Sakurai was clearly speaking for the BoJ. Ueda won't say anything until the next meeting, so that people don't think the BoJ is feeling panicked.

Amazing, and your last economist said this all had to do with the MFG PMI being in the same state as it had been for the last 16 months. This sounds a bit more plausible.

Like all other countries, Japan does see the need to widen their trading markets, a global world, and is exploring that....I have every belief, that Japan will ride this financial challenge through, and see a healthier financial outcome in the near future....I'm NY 1962 Toms very British/Brazilian future wife MD...reality

Debt chasing non cash generating “assets”, while debt laden assets chasing debts, supporting massive government borrowing, while food production is fixed, water is limited, and low birth rates in the developed world. We’re delaying the inevitable. That’s why Berkshire Hathaway is stocking away so much cash. Major crashes are coming.

Japan's debt is future pensions, not loans. "food production is fixed" Lol not it is not and that has been proven for over 250 years. Your Malthusianism has been discredited for that long. "water is limited" Primarily in the developing world. "low birth rates in the developed world" Birth rates are falling in the Global south even faster than at any prior point in history. They halved in less than 40 years. "stocking away so much cash." Cash that would be worthless the moment the governments that back them lose faith? Cash that even right now is losing value just from inflation? "Major crashes are coming." Just as everyone predicts for every years since the 1850s, often paired with the second coming of Christ and the end times. Remember when the world was supposed to end 12 years ago? And 12 years before that? and before that?
