Hello! I’m a relatively new Japanese learner, and I just found your channel! From your description, I think the closest English language equivalent is the concept of “tact”, but taken to an extreme degree (extreme from an American perspective anyway). The politeness is actually a big reason I wanted to learn Japanese. Thank you very kindly for reading! I also hope anyone who reads this has a pleasant day!

I'm japanese. I played animal crossing in English but I couldn't feel or know character's personalities on letter. But I can get character's traits if it is in Japanese. Naruto also uses だってばよ, right? So i think it's bit a tricky to be like a native speaker in Japanese. You have to understand the story or sense to be fluent.

Thanks for the video. I am a Japanese decedent, and always people say to me: "Japanese is not that difficult." So a always get tired to try to explain how difficult the language is. Thanks again for the video, because is a perfect explanation and how the culture of the country influences the language.
