Access Hollywood's Zuri Hall spoke to John Mayer at the premiere of "Vengeance" about his cameo in the film and he also explained why you don't normally see him on film premiere red carpets or at nightclubs, "You don’t see me on the red carpet very often, I seldom do it." He continued, "I walk red carpets for my friends, I’ll go to the club if my friend has a thing at the club, you know what I mean." "Vengeance" is out in theaters on July 29.

John Mayer is one of the best guitar players in the business. His confidence and sense of humor always captivates an audience. I'm pretty sure he tried stand up years ago and bombed though. He does tend to ramble on with some off the cuff philosophy that makes sense about 50% of the time. Better than I could do. Also, I'm happy to see he cut his hair and laid of the xanax and weed. He looks better and more on his game than any time I've seen him in the last couple years.

@@thankyoukanyeverycool7798 well, technically i could be full of it, but it is obvious to me for a few reasons. I follow him a little and I read an interview that he was on anxiety medication. They overprescribe the hell out of benzodiazapines for anxiety. Usually xanax or klonopin. I am a recovering adict and I used to take a lot of them. One thing about benzos is that, once you know the "benzo look", you can point them out instantly. Even if you take 1 low milligram dose, you just can't hide it. He's had that look to me for the past few years. If it ain't xanax, its another type of benzodiazapine I'm sure of it.
