He's sat on the bench as a #1 draft pick, working on his game, conditioning, arm strength, etc. He's average at best. Rodgers sat on bench 3 years. His first year starting? He looked ok. Love actually was very composed in that Chiefs game. Spagnola threw every complex blitz he had. Love got better as that game went along. He simply wasn't ready. This year he really showed command in the huddle and in the pocket. I'm pretty confident he'll be a good QB for the Packers. They need a couple TEs and WRs to help his development.

Tom Clements is literally the fucking Yoda of QB coaches. They brought him back specifically for #10. Aside from that, I am from Bakersfield, my family knows his family, and he has an incredibly high IQ, impecable work ethic, has respect and humility and all that good stuff, but he is also a fucking dog when its time to compete. He wants to filet his opponents, not just beat them. Rest assured, when the 2024 season kicks off, we have our QB.

He wasn't under pressure, as mentioned a couple times in the vid. That's a major factor to consider--its gonna take some time (years) to get the pre-snap adjustments down. If he's able to do that as well as maintain mechanics under duress he will succeed.

@@pete1853 Well he did start 3 preseason games last year and went 41-74 55.4% for 437yds with 3 TDS and 4 INTs. That along with the KC game what do you find encouraging? Is it the 55% comp. rate or the more INTs than TDs? He was a projected 3rd rounder with accuracy issues that Green Bay reached for and after 3 years you would think that would have improved by now. It hasn't, so why would anyone believe it magically is going to?

However, when he played the Lions and the the '22 game, he played better every play. His footwork was better and the mechanics of his throws were better. This is one this he does better than Rodgers -- HE LISTENS TO HIS COACHES. When they call a play that will work -- Love runs it. He does not option off to "mystery play".
