intense and rem is way bigger of a gap than hard and difficult toky is barely harder than toh but they are 0.69 difficulties apart toth is wayyy easier than tots but they are only 0.54 apart

finally. I don't think it's just 2x though, in fact it's probably closer to 3x, as Easy is harder than low tier 1(walking) and Cata is more than tier 11 and Tiered obbies are 2x in difficulty

well an easy difficulty tower is prob around tier 4 and cata is typically agreed to be around tier 15 so it would make sense it is a 2x increase however what i found interesting is that for horrific, unreal and nil instead of a 2x increase it is a 4x increase so horrific is tiers 16 - 17, unreal is 18 - 19 and nil is 20 - 21

1. difficulties were basically decided randomly by someone years ago so these numbers don't actually hold any weight relative to each other 2. it's basically impossible to define how an obby could be "twice as hard" as another. sure you could say that doing an obby twice in a row makes it twice as hard, but you'd have to account for punishment, endurance, practice, etc. and it just becomes a whole mess. it's impossible to assign numbers to difficulties, at least imo 3. why is easy 0 lol 4. you have to actually prove assumptions before you use them. unless you're a college professor. 5. "logarithms are the inverse of exponential" is an incomplete statement, because honestly "exponential" is kind of ambiguous. i.e. c^x =/= x^c good ideas and good editing though, i just don't think it's possible for difficulty to be standardized
