@troy bligh Don Drysdale was visiting Cubs announcer Harry Carey one time when Fernando Valenzuela was pitching. He was tryna tell about how Fernando was being scouted but the Dodgers kept putting men on base so Harry had to swerve off the scouting topic to actually talk about the current game. Well they had a bjg rally and finally it was the Cubs half of the 7th. And naturally; the Cubs had their own rally so the scouting Fernando topic got further and further in the rear view mirror. So during a pitching change Drysdale got to finally mention how in the Mexican League pitchers were known to throw a spitball every once in a while. Fernando informed that his Uncle taught him that pitch and Drysdale told the audience the scout exclaimed, "Does your Uncle still pitch?"

Dont think Julian Lewis is coming to CU. He'll keep his commitment to USC. Coach prime is still unproven at the fbs level. Riley has produced 2 Heisman winners and top 10 drafted qbs in 5 years. Staub will have to take over the Reigns after shedeur leaves.

I'm lost why we are drooling over this QB. When we lead with a kid becoming a superstar by joining our program, we feed into the critics who say we are about clicks and likes. The majority of our guys aren't running up social media numbers. The real money comes from contractual agreements. What does Ju Ju have already, that doesn't need to be coached up, that Ryan Staub doesn't have after last year and this year of coaching. If the freshman can't start over Ryan Staub, or Walter Taylor, and we can't develop those two guys, we don't need that particular Freshman. We have what we need. The one thing Matt Rhule can gloat about is making PJ Tucker from Elizabeth NJ (My schools Rival) into an NFL QB.
