I owned a company and couldn't find employees. They were getting paid not to work. The first 1 1/2 years of a presidency are normally attributed to the president before because it takes that long for any change of policy to take affect. He gave billionaires tax breaks and added $8 trillion to the debt part of the reason inflation was so bad. And inflation was worldwide not just in the US. Covid was worldwide too and he treated it as a hoax. Trump took so much credit for the DOW getting to 25000 it is 40000 now. Gas prices were not a result of any Biden policy. Supply and demand and oil companies pretty much determine that. Covid made it so demand was low. Refineries cut back. Heck Libya quit producing oil because it cost more to get it than they could sell it for. At one time late during the Trump administration the world price of oil was less than 0$ per barrel. Yes an actual negative.. Refineries cut back, drilling slowed and sometimes stopped. Trump even tried to get with Russian and Saudi Arabia to cut production cuz the American oil companies weren't making enough money. BTW I can remember in the 70's if gas got above $ 0.50 a gallon I wouldn't be able to afford to drive to work. By sheer accomplishments Biden is one of the most legislatively successful presidents there was. Trump was rated 45th 43rd and 41st compared to Biden being in the top 15. BTW life long Republican and no Republican in my lifetime would not have wanted to help Ukraine as much as possible let alone be convicted of rape and fraud. Russian propaganda is working and so many people can't see it.

Because it hasn’t changed since forever when we didn’t have the current illegal immigrant problem. Are all these counties/states going to be diligent checking the citizenship of these people to ensure they are citizens? Where I live, I don’t think so because of who we have as Secretary of State and what I saw last election. I saw where one woman actually sent the form back to the state and let them know what was not legal. They sent her another form. Also, when things went down from that “IT patch” it was primary voting in Arizona. The voting machines they adamantly say aren’t connected to the internet didn’t work because of the problems with the internet. Lowered the unemployment rate , made all the flowers perk up and bloom fully , birds sang beautiful tunes and he even spoke his own words to us without anybodies help , and there's too much more to list but it's all readily available online somewhere I'm sure

No President can implement via Executive Order (which would be a gross abuse of power/ tyrannical abuse) nor by passing a Law in the House & Senate! It requires a Constitutional Amendment, which will not happen anytime soon (& hopefully, never!). However, a Federal ban on Abortions is possible w/o any amendment or new law, since the Constitution already has this protection, as well as the Civil Rights Act, & numerous Laws at the Federal & State levels that make Murder illegal! (If the woman’s life is at serious risk, one must treat the woman to save her life.. if an ectopic pregnancy, then treatment to save the life of the mother is clearly justified; if the expecting mother has pre-eclampsia that isn’t responding to treatment, then you would deliver the baby & do all you can to save the baby, since delivery is the main treatment for eclampsia..)… Though this sadly will not likely occur anytime soon. Until the Democrats & ‘Progressives’ (ie: Marxists- Communist/ Nazis/ Fascists/ Socialist), finally decide to genuinely live out the ideology they claim to espouse (compassion, fighters for justice, defenders of the oppressed & marginalized), banning abortion at the national level won’t occur. The Civil War was required for the Republicans to force the Democrats to end slavery-> which had a much lower percentage of Democrats who passionately supported slavery than Democrats today who passionately support Abortion.. Very good discussion. I question that the "excitement" is for the wrong reasons. I don't feel she has established what her agenda is. I am concerned that like Hilary Clinton, who certainly had the credentials, her lack of likeability was among her greatest weaknesses and ultimately significantly contributed to her defeat. I am also concerned as a Black American Woman also 59 years old, that jumping on the Kamala wagon solely because she's a woman and can selectively choose to identify as "black" just doesn't get it. As president, can she deliver? Can she establish her own policy apart from the Biden agenda? Will she be capable of meaningfully engaging with world leaders and other colleagues to build consensus? I am glad that there is broad discussion. Kamala: Don't presume that the Black vote is in the bag!

I think Keli is on point about 50%. But, I think most people want a 'strong' president regardless of gender. Kamala isn't strong or seen as strong imo.
