Very interesting, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik also strikes me as all rounder players, with both not totally specialising in a specific area (Aaron was a backcourt player and soh frontcourt but now it’s completely vice versa, but both can definitely play their positions interchangeably) which can lead to their shuttle redirect routes especially their flat game become readable or predictable at times….would be really interesting if you can do a video on both of them

Double Olympic champions, Lee Yang and Wang Chi-lin please! What makes them so invincible in the Olympics.
@hafiyakmal31254 ай бұрын
I dont know, but i think they just built for 2x Olympic Gold, not superseries.🤣. They always gave 10000/100 in olympic compared to other tournament. Calmness, fighting spirit, mindset, strategy always on point.

it's exactly like the systems of Shi Yu Qi or Naraoka. They're good all around systems that'll net them high rankings and maybe even rank one in a very healthy manner but they don't seem to have or don't sharpen their individual EGOS enough to have them develop that final "sharp edge" like the killer instinct to go for a crazy pounce, block, drive, flick, punch or even an all out smash to push them to becoming truly become number one especially during their biggest most important matches. fun note: there's a manga called blue lock that explains this "ego development" in a really fun & entertaining way

Id say Kodai has the "sharp edge" at defense and net deception (sometimes) though, and he's quite young. But yeah, SYQ is a bit boring to watch even if he is good

Great analysis. Their plays mostly seem very orchestrated but have difficulties adjusting to faster or deceptives. Wouldnt this mean that as a pair their badminton iq is lower?

yeahh i think most of the time Seo is the one who controls the game kang just acts as a support i have rarely seen kang do some crazy iq thing
