Man,implants suck,i have 1 and its nothing like a real tooth. Lost it due to bad dentist,when you have your cavity filled or the tooth is dead and you get a root canal the tooth becomes weaker and can snap at the root and you wont even notice theres an infection till a tenny tiny bump appears,thats when you need the tooth to be removed completely. Thats why you should avoid getting root canals,get 2 check ups every year to avoid cavities getting to deep it damages the root. Any filling after a root canal can snap down deep on the root and theres no pain or anything,I had an infection for a year and didnt even know it. After the xray they showed that the root was overfilled with dental filling too which is also very common,thats how ppl lose healthy teeth. Also visit multiple dentists and different hygienist because i used to get 2 cleanings every year and only a 3rd specialist noticed a hole in the filling. It takes 3-4 dentists to actually notice it.
