My favourite thing about schmeichel is that he is incredibly loud. i went to the denmark vs norway game and you, even in a stadium with 25,000 people, could hear him yell at his defenders. I've also met him quite a few times and off the pitch he is the sweetest person you'll ever meet.

Celtic are pretty much guaranteed to face some of the fewest shots domestically in Europe. He's got it easy here. It's a place for a stepping stone early in a career, for the unambitious like McGregor, Tavernier or Forrest or for the retirement delayers like Hart and Schmeichel.

When I heard he went back to Denmark I thought that was it for him. I thought he would retire there. But then I heard Celtic signed him and oh man I was crying tears of joy! Superb keeper. For me his biggest attribute isn't his glovework, which is top notch anyway, but rather it's his work with the ball at his feet. It's amazing to watch how comfortable he is spraying passes around with pinpoint accuracy, even under huge pressure. It makes a huge difference to how quickly Celtic can get on the front foot again as well as beating a high press. I'd take him for another couple of years at least, still plenty of life in those legs yet.

It's a dream having KS in the Celtic goal. I thought it'd be really difficult replacing Hart, but then as soon as I heard that KS was on his way in, it really settled my nerves and got the excitement going to see him in in a Celtic keeper top! And wow, what a signing he's been! Cheeky 10 min call from BR, and he's worked his magic again bringing in a top top keeper! I love it all!

I would have had Kasper at Liverpool in a heartbeat. Was a huge fan of his Dad, except against Liverpool, and I put his save against Rapid Vienna above Gordon Banks' save against Brazil. Banks was moving towards the direction of the shot but Schmeichel was moving away from the direction of the shot.
