It was not about yesterday's match. Except of winning the first match of IPL 2018 for csk jadhav is not contributed anything for the team. Srikkanth Sir, you are absolutely correct. Let me support it with this numbers. 1-10 overs = 90 runs 10-15 overs = 20 runs (no boundaries) Including MSD everyone slowed down. Even if we go by Ani's point, let's say MSD slowed down bcoz few wickets lost, what did he do. He slowed down and got out. The wicket was difficult in later stages, so those who wasted balls between 10-15 overs should have finished the match.

MSD 11 of 12 deliveries also cost us the match in addition to scooter's knock. whatever may be the situation, this kind of innings in the last parts of the match is totally unacceptable. Ani is also thinking like scooter, 2 wickets have fallen and the player should not go for runs. Thats ok in odi cricket. In t20 cricket, runs should be scored all the time despite fall of wickets.

actually dhoni's intention at that stage was right but he unnecessarily went for wrong shot coz he knows he is weak towards leg spinners. he could have rotated the strike to curran instead. when he got out it was just 39 off 21. easily chasable. but at that time if a player continously plays defence it is really pathetic. dhoni's innings did not cost the match but he failed to carry his responsibility. but his intention was really right

The match against KKR was lost in 2 stages. One between 13 and 15 overs where CSK scored 12 of 15 balls, scooter was not even in the middle, dhoni was batting at that time and obviously towards the end when scooter batted. I love this video.

Dhoni shown intent after scoring 7 runs in first 10 balls and at time we are already came under pressure of 43 required from 23 balls even though we had 7 wickets in hand. I go with Ani's view. Dhoni had intent to play and he really wanted to win this match. His only mistake was sending Jadhav instead of Jadeja or Bravo. But Kedar Jadhav didn't show any intent in taking runs. He made dokku dokku in crucial overs when the balls are decreasing. He was very painful to watch.

He caught many crucial catches & did stumpings for his team. What Kedar did for our team? Once upon a time he played well against Mumbai. In SRH vs CSK match Dhoni didn't give a enough chance to bat Sam curran, he only got chance to face 2balls in 2 overs and those 2 balls went to six. Luckily in CSK vs KKR match Dhoni got out and Sam scored 17. Now a days Dhoni is struggling to hit a 4&6 it's clearly visible. when they're not able to hit they should give A chance to play others. that's what happened in both the matches. Dhoni didn't give a chance to Sam and Kedhar didn't give a chance to Jadeja. SRH won by 7 & KKR won by 10.

Srikanth is correct,T20,on the very first ball , batsmen should be capable enough of to hit bar minimum of 2 runs per ball(forget about 4s and 6s) and should rotate the strike, no matter what on which over he plays and how many wicket lost, this is the winning strategy for any team in T20, if he can score only run a ball because of the situation ,then he should play only 50 over match, not T20, make it clear and please understand Anirudh, and please avoid Cross talking when Srikanth speaks, it is annoying everyone

It is not about 2 or 3wickets falling, they still have a lot of batsmen. Funny part is Bravo did not bat. Cheeka is correct that Dhoni did not have intent. Neither did Jadhav. Even if they came close loosing wickets, tail Enders could have finished it. That is called intent. Truth is All teams have figured out that Dhoni strategy is always taking deep till last over. But they are taking advantage by getting more dot balls from them.

Don't blame jadav...where is your thala ??? ....I think he should be a best finisher...but probably dhoni is not doing his job...fast stumbing alone can't help to win a match ....I think he scored 40+ runs against rr..note that out of 30+ balls...y some people blaming jadav alone...even jaddu expensive in bowling too...doest care ur focus on jadav...even Watson scored a run against Punjab..bcos Punjab not having proper bowling attack ... except shami...my suggestion is whole team itself had a problem

I agree with cheeka...Its a t20 game losing two wickets and playing slowly couple of over make you lose the momentum and finally the game... unless we have only wickets in hand we can always go for it... that too with csk batting depth we can still go for it...

Dhoni did hit but there were two extraordinary boundary saves. I was even shocked seeing dhoni hitting. I though he will take singles per 5 balls but his intent yesterday was diff. He started hitting from the fast ball but couldn't middle the ball. Ani bro u spoke 100% practically !

I completely agree with Cheeka. Both Dhoni and Jadhav did not have intent. We are not expecting him to hit a six in the first couple of balls but there was no intent in the balls Dhoni and Jadhav played. Bravo and Jaddu had to have come before. In place of Raina's absence the management should have picked up a free agent (batsman) and strengthen the batting. I feel Jadhav is close to Dhoni and in the end what Dhoni wants will happen. Jagadeeshan and Sai Kishore could have got a chance. They shouldn't be treated as water boys. They are talented youngsters. I am a CSK fan and definitely the management needs to groom a youngster who can eventually take over CSK's captaincy after Dhoni's retirement. That way it will be a smooth transition.

When Dhoni was at the crease, KKR were slowly gaining control over the game so in order to release the pressure he tried to take chance of a less experienced bowler (Varun ), which unfortunately did'nt went their way. But when Jadhav was at the crease , they were in must-hit position & in that time there's no point in playing defense thinking himself like a big hitter to take the game more deep .Either he must've play shots or loose his wicket so that bravo or even karn sharma would,ve finished the game for us.

It was not about yesterday's match. Except of winning the first match of IPL 2018 for csk jadhav is not contributed anything for the team. Neither he bowls, neither he's a good fielder nor he's a powerhitter batsman or a batsman who takes quick singles or doubles. Then whats his role in the team? Instead give jagadeesan or gaikwad some chances to prove themselves.
