i think patience with jocks shot is a better idea than going for love. jock was supposed to be a stretch big and he's got to put on a lot of muscle to compete w nba bigs. if he made em before he can make 'em again

@@SunsValleyPodcast V understandble I dont fully trust him as of now and maybe for this post-season. I see it this way, I agree Love could improve our window for this playoffs, but he comes with a lot of downsides. But Jocks effort makes him a servicable big man going forward. I'd rather make moves that extended the title window, which everyone says is quickly closing. Love makes it close even quicker imo. Win or Lose in '23, I want us going for it again in '24.. hell '26 too

it sucks, Jock has done multiple stints of 40+% prior to the move to the NBA and even then has had some 40-50% runs over 25+ shots at Spurs and Suns but over a season, not good.. To be fair he used to average 20+ in the paint.. not from range and I prefer that game for him but getting into position and waving his arms about doesn't get him the ball as it did early on as the bench push for minutes.. I think even if they get a stretch they might keep Jock cos he's cheap and hustles more than a lot of bigs, beats DA in a few stats over 36 mins too. Actually looking back at Spurs he shot 32% from 3, not great but a lot better than hes been with the Suns for some reason.

looking back at this.. Kevin Love is unserviceable for the heat and landale finished out the season amazing for the suns so glad this never happened

The buyout market is the most important for the Suns, right now, given they gave up four of their first-round unprotected picks for KD and Warren. I don't think Love is a good choice given his age and his lack of production lately.
