Japanese guard Yuki Kawmura is a different breed... he's 5'8", still in his early 20's, and is putting up an incredible fight for an NBA roster spot. Whether he's playing in the League, or in Japan's B. League, he's a guy who's mandatory to study for shorter guards.

Another player that played a huge roll in Yuki Kawamura's success was NBA G league player, Yuki Togashi, another small asian guard. Kawamura studied Togashi, played alongside him, and cites him as a major inspiration. Togashi walked so Kawamura could run. Stuff like that shows how important legacy and nurturing the next generation is. If youre an older player, trainer, or former player, make sure to do something to pass your knowledge along to the next generation, no matter how small. You never know who you might end up inspiring to be the next great.

His game is really similar to Mark Price who played for the Cavs in the 90s. Quick, can get to anywhere on the court with his dribble and knows how to split the pick & roll. I'm going to be watching him this season.
