@@bernieeditsgladly. Toddler Sam < S1 Sam < S2 Sam < S3 Sam < S4 Sam < S5 Sam. Say what you want about who wins between S5 Sam and S5 Tory, but S5 Tory is at the very least on par with S5 Sam in AP (probably higher in AP, as Tory’s size seems to give her the edge in strength and durability, whereas Sam competes with and sometimes defeats Tory due to her skill and experience). S5 Tory took 6 tries to break through a stone tablet, which required a kinetic energy output of 411 kJ. And Tory destroyed her hand in the process. Compare this to KK3 Mike, who could casually demolish bricks in his training, a feat also coincidentally calced at 411 kJ. The fact is, KK3 Mike can pull off a 411 kJ feat with less tries, difficulty and injury than S5 Tory can, proving his AP (and subsequently his durability) is significantly higher. Hmm. The physically larger male with almost 2 decades of training learning the proper technique to throw a good punch hits harder than the physically smaller female fighter who doesn’t have the same level of technique and refinement due to only training for a couple of years. Who would’ve guessed. KK3 Mike is overall above KK3 Daniel in AP and Durability, but the fact of the matter is that KK3 Daniel is durable enough to take hits from Mike and keep fighting with only mild injury. KK3 Daniel < Pre CK Adult Daniel. So essentially, Pre CK Adult Daniel is more durable than KK3 Daniel, who could take hits from KK3 Mike, who’s objectively stronger than S5 Tory, who’s at least relative to S5 Sam in AP, who’s stronger than S4 Sam, who’s stronger than S3 Sam, who’s stronger than S2 Sam, who’s stronger than S1 Sam, who’s obviously way stronger than Toddler Sam. Clearly with that kind of scaling, Toddler Sam having the AP to overwhelm Adult Daniel’s Durability is just really really really stupid. She clearly must’ve kicked his jaw in a very weak spot to break it. Weaker fighters can actually damage more durable fighters if they aim for the right areas.

Here's how I like to put it when it comes to the whole KK3 Mike vs S5 Mike topic. You seen Avatar The Last Airbender? At the end of the show, there's a big comet where all the firebenders have their firebending power amped to crazy powerful levels. Their skill, technique, versatility, and hacks stay the same, but they become massively more powerful. S5 Mike is basically KK3 Mike with a comet boost, only with physical stats rather than firebending power. In terms of skill, technique, and combat experience, KK3 Mike is the same as S5 Mike because he didn't train or fight at all, so those aspects of his combat ability stayed the same. However, S5 Mike is still > KK3 Mike overall because he's now much bigger, thus giving him much higher AP and Durability. So what this means is that KK3 Mike's skill is high enough to contend with S5 Chozen (and subsequently S5 Johnny, Silver or Daniel as well) in an equalized stats fight. KK3 Mike just needs a big boost in AP and Durability in order to match S5 Chozen. KK3 Mike already has higher AP and Durability than the S5 teens because his brick feat is calced barely higher than Tory's stone feat, but he did his with ease, while Tory took 6 tries and severely injured her hand in the process. KK3 Mike also has way more experience and training as a 10th degree black belt who's trained his whole life. And since his skill is = S5 Mike's, who fought evenly with S5 Chozen, who soloed the whole S5 Miyagi Dojo, then KK3 Mike is way more skilled as well.

Look, your video is good and it does make a really good point that would be one hundred percent acceptable, if the guidebooks didn’t contradict it. I saw this from a KZbinr named LeReem Debates and I don’t know where he found it, but the season 2 guidebooks say “complete with all the Miyagi teachings that have gone down in pop-culture history” this implies that Robby by the end of season 2 learned eveything Daniel did in the triology, including kata, the technique that defeated Mike. This was season 2, season 6 Miguel, Robby, and Hawk are WAY beyond that version of Robby. For more info check his video Mike Barnes vs Miguel/Robby/Hawk. He made a good point in the same video though, I don’t think the reason Mike is able to keep up with Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen, is so much skill, but rather power. Mike Barnes was the physically strongest rival Daniel ever had in the triology as he performed the best feat in power, which was destroying bricks (Which to this day has not been surpassed by any of the teen fighters in Cobra Kai season 6 part 1) and of course as an adult his strength has grown a lot since then. An example I’d like to bring up is imagine Floyd Mayweather got into a street fight with some random guy who has never trained in fighting but was 7 ft tall and 300 lbs of muscle and they stalemated. This doesn’t mean that the muscular man was as skilled as Floyd, just his power put them on equal playing fields. When powerscaling characters you have to look at more than one source, in other words, you have to take EVERYTHING into account. Statements, guidebooks, and of course, most important of all, feats. Just taking one of these things into account would be pretty rough if the other two contradict them. For example, let’s say that the guidebooks say “Robby at season two is as strong as Sensei Chozen” that’s easily fade and contradicted by the feats we see happen. It’s the same thing here. Ultimately it comes down to what do you think will triumph, raw power or skill? If you say power than Mike wins but if you say skill, then Miguel, Robby, and Hawk win.

@@euardomartinez1997 look at the 2nd ever video I made on this channel, it’s a video detailing ALL of mike’s feats and statements, this video is just to add onto it hence why it says “still” solos. The reason I don’t take that statement into account, is cuz not only is it vague as he “knows it” but it’s never implied he can do everything on the level of Daniel (this is proved by the fact Daniel is the only character in the verse to be able to counter punch at the same time as his drum blocks) If mike really wasn’t skilled, he wouldn’t have landed a hit on chozen in s5, raw power only doesnt put u on par with someone like Chozen, given like I said in the video that he always wanted to go to the Sekai Taikai, and was a tournament terror/national champ, saying his skills don’t match up to local champions would lowkey be disrespect, he’s not as skill as them kid or adult, but he isn’t far behind, hence why I still consider him above the teens

@euardomartinez19976 ай бұрын
@@Bokesyck Okay, I watched your second ever video like you told me too and it’s really good, but I have a couple things to say. First the positives: You’re right that just because Robby knows a move doesn’t mean they can do it as good as Daniel. You’re right that Mike was a tenth degree black belt at the age of 19. You’re right that Mike was a national champion and wanted to go to the Sekai Taikai. Now the negatives: While you’re right that just because Robby knows a move doesn’t mean they can do it as good as Daniel, remember that in season 1, Robby was able to perform the two legged kick, a technique that even Daniel in his twenties couldn’t do (This shows that Robby has greater potential and is able to pick up moves faster and better than Daniel even in his twenties). Another negative is the skill level and knowledge the black belts in the Miyagiverse have right now compared to the ones in the 80s (In other words, Mike Barnes being a tenth degree black belt doesn’t automatically mean he’s more skilled because we have to have what we see from the current fighters and compare them to the ones back then, and from what we see, the current teens have more knowledge about their moves than they did back then. Some more info to back this up is that Robby also knew techniques that Daniel in the triology never learned, like jacking up the car, raising the flag, hitting the stapler, sweeping the floor [With a mop, not the sanders], and more [I gave most of the techniques nicknames because they didn’t have one, but they are legit look at the first three minutes of season 1 episode 7. Also even if you wanna say Daniel did know these techniques and was able to use them, which there is no evidence to say he did, we don’t know if he could use them as good as Robby could]. That’s not it though, Miguel and Sam both know the flying tornado kick and Sam knows a bo staff fighting technique which we don’t see used in any of the KK trilogy movies. Not just that but in season 4, Sam showed a super advanced Miyagi Do style that we never saw before in the trilogy which was changing stances. To better explain, when Sam was down 2-1 against Tory, she changed her stance into Daniel’s kata stance from the third movie and landed a hit. After that though, she then changed into a stance we never see used in the trilogy and went on to land another hit [This might not seem drastic but look at season 5 when Chozen is fighting Terry. In the beginning, Chozen’s stance is pulling his arms in with his hands open, before closing them. He ends up getting tagged by Silver before switching to another stance where he raises him arms, clenched his fists, spreads his arms and then breathes out, and ends up overpowering him]) Lastly, while Mike was a national champion and wanted to compete in the Sekai Taikai, he never did, which could mean that he wasn’t deemed worthy enough to compete (It most likely is because the Sekai Taikai is allowing Miguel, Robby, and Hawk in when they are over 18 and has no affiliations with the US, meaning 19 year old Mike who was banned from Karate in the US, should’ve still been allowed had he been deemed worthy enough). Some minor facts I realized: Mike was stated to be a tenth degree black belt at age 19, even though he participated in the All Valley which is for teens 18 and under. This could mean that after losing and before he was banned he took more karate classes and gained more black belts or just that he was unfairly allowed in. Raw power actually could actually allow Mike to hurt Johnny and Chozen but in this case it was power and speed (I say in this case because in order for it to be raw power he’d have had to have broken through any defense/block they put up with just offense/hits in this case that was not it. If you don’t understand, let’s say someone 7 ft tall who weighed 300 lbs of pure muscle picked a fight with Floyd Mayweather. Floyd blocked his punches but the bigger guy is so much stronger that the punches he threw broke through whatever block Floyd used and still made impact on Floyd’s body). Think of it like this, let’s say Mayweather was fighting somebody with great boxing skills that wasn’t on his level, but the random boxer was faster or equally as fast and he was great at blocking. The guy could repeatedly block Floyd’s hits but still lose in the end. Or let’s look at this in a fictional setting. Comics Spiderman isn’t anywhere near as skilled as comics Captain America but in multiple instances he has been able to beat Cap and the reason why is because while he is not as skilled at Cap, he is faster and stronger so he was able to fight on par with and beat him. That’s about that though, if you have something else to add, go ahead.
@Bokesyck6 ай бұрын
@@euardomartinez1997 while I do agree Robby has a high potential ceiling than Daniel, I still don’t think it’s safe to say he’s on that level yet. He can do the 1 legged kick which nobody else can do except for Miyagi, but does this mean he’s on Miyagi or current Daniel’s level? Nah, knowing techniques still doesn’t prove he’s better than them (drum technique example from earlier) I do think the 2 legged kick is quite an outlier considering he literally does it once and never again (the move doesn’t even finish off Miguel so it’s really not that good), and Sam, while she may do the same or different kata as Daniel, the difference is his could counter a national champ who years later tangled with Chozen (which u haven’t seemed to mention yet) his speed and skills literally counter chozen’s, raw strength alone wouldn’t get him a hit like that. Before getting beat he was the tournament terror, literally going on a winning spree and was nationally ranked, so saying he’s not as skilled as the s6 kids just because he “looks” like a raw power fighter is dishonest (he tangles with Johnny who’s a similar strength level to him) Mike was barred from competition due to silver, not cuz he wasn’t worthy, we know mike could’ve won the all valley pretty easily (whether Daniel was at his best for not isn’t what I’m arguing rn) silver is really the one who blew mikes chance not mike. Once again mike being this skilled isn’t an outlier either, (once again he was nationally ranked) and was worlds above kk2 Chozen like was mentioned in the video To TLDR, I don’t think the kids have mastered their techniques enough yet (this again wouldn’t be an outlier as Daniel learned from Miyagi himself) while they have much much more potential than Danny or mike did, mikes strength along with his skill feats like versing Chozen and his accolades simply put his skill over them (for the time being as s6 isnt done)
@euardomartinez19976 ай бұрын
@@Bokesyck I wasn’t saying Robby was at adult Daniel or Miyagi’s level, at all, just that he surpassed teenage Daniel. Knowing techniques can prove that Robby is better, because in this case he knows more than Daniel, can use them, and would give someone a better fight than teenage Daniel as a result. Think about it, if you were going to fight someone who only knew how to throw a strong left hook or someone who knew how to throw a strong left and right hook, who do you think is gonna put up a better fight? Also, about the drum technique example you gave while it is a strong point, that’s one skill to Robby’s many. Robby might not be able to counter strike at the same time as using the drum technique, but that doesn’t automatically mean he’s less skilled than Daniel. Robby knows all of Daniel’s move in the KK trilogy plus more, and it’s not like teenage Daniel mastered those moves either so that’s not even a strong argument by itself. Also about your “Robby only used the technique once and never again” so did teenage Daniel with the kata, crane kick, and drum technique. If you’re saying Robby can’t use it or is less skilled because he only used it once, I could say the same thing about Daniel since he’s only used those techniques once too. I never said Mike “looks” like a raw power fighter, the reason why I’m saying he is, is because he performed the best AP feat that any teen ever performed in the Miyagiverse, which is destroying bricks. LeReem calculated it to be at 411 kilo joules and no student has performed any feat anywhere close to that… without breaking their hand at least. Tory in season 5 destroyed stone which LeReem again calculated to be at 411 kilo joules, being only slightly worse by one hundred joules (The problem with this feat though is that unlike Mike, Tory broke her entire hand, so she wouldn’t be able to output this level of force consistently without breaking or hurting her hand). It’s the feat he performs, not how he looks, and as an adult his muscles should’ve expanded and strengthened as a result. This is why he’s able to incapacitate the senseis despite only having the skills he had as a kid, because of power and speed. The two legged kick not finishing Miguel off isn’t really a strong argument because of multiple reasons. For one it was in a tournament setting, the tournament rules are light contact and aiming the body. One good example in the trilogy of this is Daniel vs Chozen. When Daniel and Johnny fought in the tournament, both more than had the strength to make the other bleed or bruise up as proven by how Daniel breaks Johnny’s nose and Johnny gives Daniel a bruise, but it wasn’t a bloodbath because of the rules in the tournament. When we see Daniel and Chozen fight in a fight to the death however, neither are holding back and both are clearly bleeding and bruising because of it. To further cement this, when Daniel was using the drum technique, he was causing Chozen to bleed and sweat profusely, highlighting that these Miyagi Do techniques can cause someone to bleed and bruise up if they want them to, this should especially be the case for the quote on quote “Most powerful kick in all of Miyagi Do.” TLDR: Daniel and Johnny suppressed their strength because it was a tournament, Daniel and Chozen didn’t because it was a death battle. For another Robbie was injured so he couldn’t go at full power anyways, even if you say that he didn’t use his injured arm for the kick, all his body weight is still being pulled down on his entire body, not just the arm he was using, and as a result, his injured arm, all though he wasn’t using it, was still feeling pain and pressure. Lastly, this was season one not six or even two for that matter, they have all grown stronger and more skilled since then. If it was a death battle between Robby and Miguel and Robby wasn’t injured, the two legged kick would’ve done WAY more damage than it did (And Robby also could’ve taken advantage of the time Miguel would’ve spent on the ground to stomp him out or something in this scenario as well), even more so nowadays than it did back then. Even then, what are you talking about when you say that it didn’t do that much damage, Miguel was on the floor and was wheezing for air from a suppressed two legged kick from an injured Robby. Away from Robby, let’s talk about Sam and Tory: Mike may have been a national champion but the people we see him training most with are Kreese and Silver, the two who have been training Tory for months. Both have way more experience than any of the current senseis and were teaching her techniques they likely didn’t know. For example, Silver taught Kenny the silver bullet in season 5 (I’m using this as an example to show that Silver still had more to show), a move that nobody else, not even Johnny or Mike knew (I’m not saying Kenny is more skilled than these two as adults what I’m saying is that Silver and Kreese still knew some techniques that they never shared with these guys, so it’s not hard to believe that Tory learned techniques that Mike never did). In other words, the national champion’s mentors were teaching story as well, and it’s not like story lacked skills beforehand. She said it herself that she learned kickboxing before karate and has been training with Kreese for over a year and Silver for a couple weeks-months. You also haven’t mentioned my statement that you have to compare the current teens skills to the past teens. All you said was he’s a national champion and he was a tenth degree black belt, which is nice, but doesn’t really prove anything. Johnny was a first degree black bet and beat Daryl Vidal who was a third degree black bet. Hell Daniel wasn’t even a blackbelt technically and he still beat Mike in the end (I saw this one comment years ago on Mike vs Daniel during the final tournament. The person pretty much said that Daniel was better than Mike all throughout KK3 he just wasn’t able to beat him because of Silver and his manipulative tactics and once Daniel finally let it all go he won easily). I’m not mentioning adult Mike because I feel that isn’t important since we’re speaking solely about teenage Mike. However, since you’ll probably bring it up again, I’ll speak on it. Mike could be the same skill as he was back then, but still be on the same level as his teenage counterpart. This is again, because his strength and speed more than make up for the skill difference. As you claimed in your first vid, dad amped Johnny wasn’t able to know out two of Silver’s senseis, whereas Mike knocked those two out easily, showing that Mike is above dad amped Johnny in speed and power in season 5. Season 6 takes place a couple months later and Johnny won due to his skill being superior due to training since season 1 and his own strength being able to match up to Barnes’ since months have passed and his own strength has likely matched Barnes’ by that point. You also aren’t really proving how it’s not just power and speed that Mike is able to beat people as an adult. Someone with less skill can still beat someone with more skill if they’re stronger and faster than them. Think of it like this, you were decent at boxing and was fighting someone who was way better than you at it, but you were five weight classes above them, you’re likely to stalemate or maybe even beat him because of the difference in power. It happens all the time in real life, even someone without any combat training can beat someone with it cuz size > skills. Hell look at Shawn vs Robby in season 3, Shawn was able to keep up with Robby not because of his skill, but because of his size and strength. About your claim that Silver ruined it for him: If Mike really wanted to go to the Sekai Taikai as badly as he said he wanted to, why wasn’t he allowed before joining Kreese and Silver? He more than likely wasn’t deemed worthy enough despite being a national champion. Silver may have ruined it for Mike afterwards, but if he was as good as you think he was, he would’ve been allowed into the Sekai Taikai way before joining those guys, but he wasn’t, so he wasn’t. Little something else, if your reason for Mike being stronger, weaker, or whatever is because “it does/doesn’t make any sense otherwise” it doesn’t matter. There’s lots of things that don’t make sense in every show, book, and movie ever written by another human. In other words, it doesn’t have to make sense, it just is how it is. Like for example, the guidebook statement could be true and while it doesn’t make any sense, it doesn’t take away that it’s true. Or there could be a feat backed up by statements and the guidebooks that don’t make sense, but are still valid.

No tf they don’t bro Mike Barnes is the second strongest teen other than axel and bro axel on offense was bullying Robby and Robby was sacred of axel literally his face was priceless and we know that mikes offense is greater than axels offense so imagine what Mike would do to season 6 Robby he would be even more terrified and would get thrashed even harder plus Miguel is equal to Robby so Miguel also loses plus Robby’s offense is dog awful like I feel like he has no offense basically and Mikes defense easily clears Robby’s offense mate so offense plus defense Mike is better overall so he wins mate.

@ even S1 Robby clear Mike kk3, as it has been stated S1 Robby and Miguel had the same techniques and had mastered it, unlike the kk3 characters, if you don’t believe it, as Pokery and Zyber what it means
