I routinely pick Kirkland brand items over “name” brands. Realistically, Kirkland IS a name brand.

I remember being told looooong ago that Costco does very little development of their own food products, and instead sample a wide variety of private submissions and pick the best - as well as supply a substantial package to the winners. Could just be another tale. I never did bother to research that… Anyone else hear that too?

Their dog food is better than any dog food sold in grocery stores and on par with the best found in most feed stores. I had been veterinary nurse for 20 years and know what to look for, for the price I want to pay, and Kirkland fits the bill, literally.

A Kirkland Car would just be a high-trim Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE, BUT they only come in a 4 pack. 4 super Camrys for $85,000 when the MSRP of one is $40,000.

I was hooked on Costco around a decade ago. Hell, I even use Kirkland golf balls and golf gloves. I have yet to find any kitkland product that I didn't like. If I was to complain about anything, it would be the package sizes. But, for the issue of product sizes like meat, we simply decant the food products into smaller vacuum storage bags and store them away in our freezer.

Kirklands high end Vodka is NOT grey goose. Costco buys it from a company with not affiliated with grey goose. And I would argue is better because quality is more consistent. PS Kirkland regular Vodka is also very good, and an extremely good value. *It just doesn't have a bunch of reddit conspiracy rabbit holes dedicated to it.
