Yall help me pray for my family. We are a household of 8, me and my wife both work full time, and make good money. But this economy is choking us out. Rents due and the fridge is empty and we cant do anything about either one. Were blessed to have enough frozen meat and canned veggies that we've been able to have soup and beans and what not. But were getting down to the last of it. We'll get paid soon but our little stash of just in case food is gone. On top of everything my wife is having to have surgery dec 6th and will be out of work for 9 to 10 weeks. I really dont know what we're gonna do but i know God will provide some how or another!

Yes He will! Praying for you. In a similar situation. I’m a single Mom and I’m physically and medically disabled so can’t work. They’ve cut my food money til I only get $100 a month for my daughter and I to eat for an entire month. And my disability isn’t even enough to cover the bills. I had to sell my 20 yr old car that I loved for $100 to a junk yard about 3 years ago to use to try to keep the electricity on. They cut my Medicaid insurance too that used to cover my healthcare and now they put me on share of cost so I’m responsible for over $800 each month before they’ll pay anything at all. I literally can’t pay a penny of that amount since I’m already in the hole every month. Our house has black mold all in the walls etc and is falling apart quite literally and could be what’s caused and continues to cause my illnesses. I’ve had cancer 3 times, have a rare heart condition, have had a heart attack, have had spinal fusion done and then a repair and now need the whole thing taken out and redone all over putting rods back in from my neck to my butt. It’s a 2 year recovery if there are no complications which I’ve had both times. And just Monday, after years of trying to get someone to take me seriously and look into things, I finally got to the bottom of yet another thing I’ve struggled for years with and was diagnosed with Lupus. I could keep going on but you get the point. I can’t walk more than 30 feet without sitting down for a bit since I walk bent so far over. I’m only 44 yrs old. I was an athlete and a Paramedic and a substitute teacher before all this started. Every day I wake up thanking God for another day and another chance at my life getting better. Another chance at getting my life back. The last 11 years, it hasn’t happened and I’ve been struggling through every minute of every day with horrible pain and all these struggles and more with no end in sight, but one of these days God will answer my prayer and I’ll get my health and my life back. Have faith and keep pushing forward. Remember Psalms 23:4 says “THROUGH the valley”. It tells us we WILL get through. Reminding myself of that helps me get through the worst of times and when all I can do is lay in bed with my whole body shaking in horrific pain and whimpering. God is always with us and He gave us free will. Use that Will to get through it all. Praying and sending love.

I hate the dumb holidays and do NOT the Helloween but this year I visit my daughter and she has a kid now, so I got stuck walking the trunk or treat weirdness! I just wore my mutant ninja turtle onesie with my grandson--he had his turtle outfit and his mom(my daughter wore a turtle shirt and pants, we also went to a Christian based farm and shot apples out of a cannon and some other stuff there, that day we all wore pumpkin shirts and pants.

I agree, halloween is over-rated. We stopped participating in the dark aspects of Halloween activities several years ago. It just felt too evil. We help with local church fall festivals instead. Just fellowship & family fun & we love it! We still dress up, but nothing with evil themes & nothing that's super expensive to put together. It's freeing to not worry so much about having the best costumes & spending tons of money on candy that we can't afford. And we get to share the gospel, too.

You guys probably have way more snow in some parts of the US that we do in Canada. I know where I live. I can pretty much wear shorts and a T-shirt. All year round, except for like maybe 3 weeks out of the year, words like −20. And the poutine in quebec is absolutely amazing My favorite poutine recipe is the standard protein, but you add corn chicken and sliced brisket. Oh lobster shrimp poutine is amazing Boxing Day up here is also like yalls Black Friday. Everything is marked down. It's basically a huge shopping day.

I have another idea for the Uncle Si cups, again, figure out cost, I am not saying lose money. Say you have less than $2 in it (not counting warehousing for numerous years), do a signings. Say $5 for cups that all of the Duck Call Room and / or Unashamed podcasts and you will donate "half" or something to charities. Mia Moo, adoption stuff, whatever you all choose. You can write part of it off to charity and move some cups.

I'm not gonna dog on Little Debbie because she has been paying our bills for the past 4 years. My hubby runs a route here in Ohio. What I will tell you, is that having them all parked in your driveway and available 24/7 can create an aversion to them. You'd think we'd all be 800 lbs, simply because we have the access, but we're not...we don't really eat anything off his truck, with the exception of maybe trying a new release. I will say this (and I'm sure I'll get flack for it, because I always do 😉), I think the Christmas tree cakes are the zebra cakes in a holiday costume, they taste the same. Here's a suggestion though, the new Christmas donuts aren't worth wasting your money on, but the Christmas muffins are pretty good! -The Little Debbie guy's wife

You guys are boring. Halloween use to be my favorite. Tangerines are ripe on Halloween. We knew where all the good trees were. While they were handing out candy, we were robbing the tangerines. In the 70s the popular thing for Halloween was popcorn balls. And apple dunking. If you caught an apple, you could keep it. We would almost drown trying to catch an apple lol
