Dr Kwame Nkrumah 1909-1972 was too clever. He was 50 or 60 ahead of him. Surely he is the greatest African leader of all time. ❤

Nkrumah was never understood nor praised by many of his own people, because he was a prophet well ahead of his time. Not even his fellow Pan-Africanists like Nyerere understood him, until decades later.

If Nkrumah had made mechanized agriculture, including construction of canals to carry water to potential farming areas for transportation and irrigation a top priority, ghana now would be exporting more food than imports. Attainment of holistic mechanized agriculture would have eventually created a pool of unemployed farm workers, since farm machines would replace human workers. Then implementation of imports substitution industrialization, including development of a whole new city from scratch would be sustainable and a sound policy, since it would create new lucrative factory jobs to absorb displaced farm workers. The rush to implement imports substitution industrialization in the absence of mechanized agriculture and rural development, merely triggered farm workers in the neglected rural areas without clean drinking water and electricity to migrate for the newly created lucrative factory jobs in cities where all the modern amenities were concentrated. The poorly planned import substitution industrialization is responsible for ghana’s decline as world’s leading producer and exporter of cocoa at the time of independence. Instead of Nkrumah, deploying the services of the army of his newly independent country of six million people and more importantly without basic infrastructures such as roads and highways to help spearhead a revolution in new roads and highways construction across their newly independent country,Nkrumah rather deployed them in Congo to fight. Ironically, the soldiers Nkrumah deployed in Congo to fight, returned to ghana to overthrow his dictatorial government. Had Nkrumah had the vision of humility to adopt a peaceful option of negotiations for total liberation of Africa and engaged his soldiers at home to help execute national and patriotic duty of new roads and highways construction in their newly independent country, the practical task of helping to construct new roads and highways would have prevented them from planning to overthrow Nkrumah. And Nkrumah would have had the same political stability great man lee kuan yew of Singapore had to make his dream of a modern and civilized Singapore a reality. Africa union is not a panacea for economic growth. The hurdles of official corruption, bad governance and inability to extract and add value to our natural resources, now inhibiting economic growth in individual Africa countries must be addressed before sustainable union can be achieved. If prosperous countries form an alliance with failed countries, with a protocol of free movement of citizens of member countries, citizens from the failed countries will migrate to the prosperous countries.

You're getting it wrong. He set up those stuff but after he was overthrown, they destroyed it. The west went against it.

What have you done to correct that? Writing long theses on social media? You know how easy but irrelevant you sound from the comfort of hindsight and the armchair where you typing that apparently AI generated sh*t.

It’s way way too late now! You won’t even be able to get all the ethnic tribes in Ghana to unite, let alone the entire black race 😅😅😅

Then soon after, Dr Kuame Nkrumah was disposed of like a plastic bag. I am tired of nice speeches and wonderful debaters. If you are not ready for the ultimate sacrifice, you are another William Ruto, or another Bassirou Diomaye Faye! We need men of the likes of the leaders of the free territories of the Sahel States.
