Definitely great to have an L bracket. The stability becomes even more of an issue with bigger and heavier lenses. I can't imagine going without one!

I have a Smallrig L bracket on my Z7. It has the ridge riding the front for additional stability and good build quality for about 1/5 the price if the RRS. That quick connect is pretty slick though.

Hi Scott, I have a Nikon D810 with a battery grip and wanted to know whether is there a L bracket for the same? I couldn’t find any hence this request.

Hello Rajiv! Yes, the D810 should fit any L bracket made for a D800 with a battery grip. The Really Right Stuff (RRS) L bracket is made to fit the D800 and D810. Here’s the part number: BMBD12-L810.
