I believe Laffitte might be a Mythical Zoan: Model: Siren. Some Siren are depicted as Having wings, and this would certainly explain the ability to manipulate those around them. Perhaps this is how he convinced Blackbeard to defect from the Whitebeard pirates and aspire to take the whole world for himself. Whether it was for his own sake or Blackbeard, I don't imagine he has good intentions for the world at large.

@@chrisclark7117 Just like you said, Siren fruit would make sense considering we're in a world of pirates and there are a lot of legends and tales about singing sirens. Although we've already seen mermaids, none of them has the power of hypnosis. So Siren is a good guess. But Harpy could work too considering they are more known to have wings than sirens, and it would be something original, since the only harpy we've seen is Monet but she's an artificial one. Both are often portraid to have brown or yellowish wings most of the time, Lafitte has pure white ones. So if we're talking about a mythical zoan with pure white wings, I don't see anything else than angel personnally. Or it could be a standard zoan dove type... xD

Although you're right about there being no signs of a non artificial Harpy so far, I think Oda has been saving a lot of the bird fruits for very specific characters

Are you referring to Monet from Punk Hazard?? Monet's fruit was the Logia type Snow Snow fruit but she had wings for arms for the same reason all of Caesars men on that island had mix matched animal arms, they had law do surgery on them after the incident iirc. So a harpy fruit would still be on the table and actually specifically it would be a mythical fruit since harpies dont exist in nature.
